Who else loves George takei?

I just saw the video of his narration of 50 shades of gray and I've never laughed so hard! Who else is a takei fan?

He seems like an interesting and amusing guy, but I honestly don't know that much about him other than that he's the "Oh my!" guy, and I believe that he was on Star Trek.  He did some sort of presentation at my university last year, though I wasn't able to go.  I'm not even entirely sure what it was about, I just know that he was here.

He was on star trek as sulu. If you ever get the chance to see his videos they're pretty funny! He's an advocate for alot of causes too

Always have been since he was Hikaru Sulu on Startrek since the 60's

Rather well known for that role above all else, much like John Delancie (Discord  ) is also most well known for his role in Star Trek as Q 

 

 

 

Takei is like Adam West though.. hilarious in all regards and very quick to mock himself at any chance!

How can you not?! Discord is almost identical to Q, except he doesn't have a lesson he's trying to teach

Q always had a "point" to what he was doing, Discord didn't really do that until later..

 

And that voice.. So distinguishable..

 

He's also Agent Dark Bootie from Invader Zim

If anything, I wouldn't mind if George Takei was the 3rd guest star for My Little Pony(With John De Lancie being the first and Weird Al being the second).

 

Actually, I did see him in person back in 2012 when I took my father to go see the play "Allegiance."  And yes, he was among the stars of the play.

I didn't get to see a whole lot of the old star trek (occasionally on netflix) I'll have to re watch them.

How was allegiance? He talks about it all the time on his Facebook but I haven't heard much about it otherwise.

Honestly? They'd have to skimp on the very gay part of him (tbh though its part of what makes him hilarious.. he is flamboyant...) so.. hmm Given how they like to have the racial ponies.. hmm another asian-esque shop keeper or lore teller?

Oh oh, they could do a star-trek like knockoff thing like they did with power ponies

have a sort of sci-fi-esque thing with space and all that..

TBH the comics have reference StarTrek a few dozen times already
