Cousins?!

I'm actually really looking forward to this episode. I don't think I'm really bothered whether they end up as (distant?) cousins or not, it could be interesting if they are, but it could also be a fun story if they aren't

Synopsis for the episode is something like Pinkie discovers links between hers and Applejack's and explores them further.

I have a feeling that they're not going to be related in the end. We're going to think they are, and then get seriously disappointed (or relieved) when they turn out not cousins. They did it with Scootaloo and her blank flank... Pinkie Pie just gets excited and tags along with the Apple family all day. I mean, really, I would feel sorry for Applejack, being related to that party animal.

 

I think this is gonna be an awesome episode though. Pinkie and Applejack go well together (NOT in that way) because they do have quite opposite personalities. And the song is beautiful, too. I, for one, would love for them to be cousins.

If they are related, it kind've seems plausable since Pinkie's family are 'farmers' too....and it's been proven that Apple relations don't have everything to Apples (Aunt and Uncle Orange).....but in terms of practicality and such as far as the show goes, that would be a silly thing to do, because it either will touched on TOO much in later episodes, or is never (if rarely) ever mentioned again.  And neither situations will much affect on the over-arching narritive going on here....so why would they bother doing something like this? Toys isn't the answer because it won't have any affect on market (except maybe girls wanting pinkie and applejack toys, but seriously who doesn't want all 6, or just their favorite?).

Watch, the episode is actually just gonna be about the two of them having cousins. Like, the two of them aren't actually related and they just happened to put them in this exact scene to make people think they are.

I am excited for this episode just to simply see what happens, but to be honest part of me hopes they're related and part of me doesn't. I mean on one hand it'd be cool, but on the other, it'd be weird. Anyway guess we'll all have to wait and see.
