planning The Colts of Third Street (OOC) (Sign ups needed!)

So, I was planning on a normal open city RP and it turned into being a Saint's Row RP. Life is funny like that.

 

You do not need to know anything about Saint's Row in order to participate! This will not follow any cannon.

 

The city of Stillwater is a crime ridden island off the east coast of Equestria. Unlike the other territories of Equestria, Stillwater is largely independent and is run almost exclusively by its somewhat fairly elected mayor. This city is a war zone between two rival gangs over the complete control of the streets.

 

One year ago, the Third Street Saint's rose to power by wiping out every opposing gang in the city. Among the gangs they supposedly destroyed where the Vice Kings. However, the remaining Vice Kings did not back down when all of their territory was lost. They recruited and waited for the Saints to weaken from their leisurely life style, and when their numbers where at their greatest, they attacked. Through a short series of raids and assaults, the Vice Kings regained their old territory, the entire North half of the city.

 

Now Stillwater is split in two along the lines of north and south.

 

Other info:

- Stillwater is basically two small Islands connected by bridges. The North Island is controlled by the Vice Kings, and the south by the Saints.

- This RP has modern technology. IE guns, cars, phones, and the interwebz.

 

How this RP will be played:

- Each OC will choose to either be a Vice King or a Saint. Each Gang will have one leader and up to three lieutenants.

- If a leader is Killed, one of the Lieutenants will take over.

- The leaders will be in charge of their respective gangs. Their goal will be to claim all the territory from the opposing gang. This can be done several ways.

- The obvious (and dumbest) way is to simply kill every gang member in a certain area and take over.

- Killing every Lieutenant as well as the Leader will lead to automatic victory.

- The more territory a gang has, the more resources and members it has.

- I (the GM) will be in charge of telling you what gang controls what. To keep things simple, this will be done in percentages (Example: The Saint's have successfully driven the Vice Kings out of this Neighborhood. The Saint's now control 55% of Stillwater).

 

Da Rules:

- Absolutely no Godmodding! This includes shooting another OC without giving them a chance to react to your post. Instead of saying "Steve shot bob in the back" you should say "Steve shot at Bob's back". The other player will determine whether or not he is hit. However, be fair when determining whether or not your OC is hit! Dodging bullets is next to impossible, so being hit is much more likely.

- Consult me to find out what you have before you use it! Instead of assuming you have a helicopter to use, ask me I you do. The things your gang has is dependent on the territory it controls.

- Accept that your OC may be killed. This is a big one. Death can come swiftly in an RP like this.

- You may have multiple OCs, but they must be in the same gang.

- No cannon characters from the show.

- No ponified characters from Saints Row.

Are you sure you don't want him to be a Vice King? He's a ruthless Stalion from a rich background. That sounds a lot more like he'd be a Vice King.
