For the past decade fans of the fastest thing alive have been complaining and throwing hissy fits on both the games and other Sonic-related. As a fan, I'm caught between a war that seem to have no end. I recommend checking out this YouTube user. He posts videos regarding what's happening in the Sonic community and new regarding the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog Comics.

I have no clue : | ... I have always been a fan of the sonic games up till Sonic Adventure 2 but I love the old school games the best. Now as of the sonic fandom? Isn't deviantart full of those guys and odd artwork o.O

I used to love Sonic and play the games and watch the show with my little brother. I wonder if he still likes it...

I feel like sega gave up on making good sonic games as soon as the dreamcast died. They make a good sonic game every once and a while (sonic colors and sonic generations) but for the most part, I'm not a huge fan of any sonic game that came out after sonic adventure 2.

I have no clue, the fanbase must really be hated these days if you ask me. Maybe that is what the fanbase is these days.

Never been a part of it, I hate Sonic, but they're almost as rabid as the Superwholock shipping fangirls, if not more so.

Don't think people like them very much anymore, especially as Sonic is worse now than it ever was.

depite playing sonic the hedgehog since he first appeared i've never really been to its fandom like I am with MLP. I knew it existed but never felt like getting involved with it.

Heroes was the last Sonic game I played, so I am not too knowledgeable on Sonic anymore. The fandom though is laughable. Constantly whining about anything. It's pretty bad.

The funny thing is how the fans were finally pleased with sonic lost world because it wasn't a boost to win like the other modern games, but the review companies like IGN rated it very low because it WASN'T boost to win. I prefer going slow and playing something less linear than the other games. I'm still a fan of sonic and all, but I'm not diehard. Me and my friend see a new sonic game get a bad score and we just say: "well, it's a sonic game. What can you expect?"

I'm more of an RPG fan nowdays.
