Hello reader,
I am making a Slice of Life role-play. In this SoL, romance is the theme; but, other things can happen. I will allow you, the participant, to play up to 4 CHARACTERS. In regards to the canon ponies, I will allow them with two rules to follow: You have to let me know which characters your OC wants to interact with and Canon ponies won't be played exactly like they would act on the show.

I have had an idea, which is to make this anthropomorphic. Anthro ponies, for those who do not know, is ponies with human qualities. This means your OC will be walking on two legs and have hands,  but still keep their pony face and legs. Keep in mind that this is an idea, and may not be in the role play.

Since this roleplay will be done on the forums, I expect you to follow their rules. This means any funny business is not allowed. Take that to the PMs, and keep it out of my role-play. No god-modding, unless the other person gives you the green light to do so. No stealing characters, meaning: If I am playing AppleJack then you can not play her.

Quick question: canon ponies wont be played like they are in the show: does that mean we have to overhaul their personality, or is it just a safeguard to stop folks getting angry if something seems out of character for them? Or am I missing the point completly?

 

Aside from that: not sure whether to apply as Twilight, an OC or both... put my name down and I'll let you know shortly?

Interesting... Sign me up! I know Atlas doesn't really fit in this kind of RP but I can make it so that he is on a needed break from it all and doesn't have anyone chasing him. It's alright if you turn him down.

You know what? I fancy practicing with canon characters some more instead of my OC's: Rarity is available as well, yes?

 

I'm indifferent to whether we go down the Anthro route, but I'd rather avoid going full humanized. I suppose that it would give me a chance to try drawing in a new style though.

 

Also, I know some folks get confused about exactly what Anthro means: this is the best example I could find:

Three was what I figured. Awesome - I'm cool with that if we go for it. Just figured that any folks who didn't know what Anthro actually meant would find the chart useful.

 

If needed, I can bring a male OC in to even up numbers (assuming your aiming for an equal M/F ratio, which most folks tend to.)

 

I wouldn't want to take three characters with my schedule (don't want to have to rush posts or keep folks waiting) but if we are short on stallions when we are ready to go, I'd be fine with swapping out Rarity for Sol - who I just remembered exists.

Im not aiming for an even M:F ratio. If there does happen to be a shortage of stallions or mares and someones character is left without a partner, should they want one, i have remedies for the situation. Either colt cuddling and filly fooling as one solution, or  i can fill the spots

Well I'm going to be asleep for the next 5 hours or so, so hopefully I won't be left behind!

 

Side note that I really have no say in, but would like to see - would be nice for everyone to RP together and have a bit more interaction than choosing a partner within the first 2 - 3 posts and then forgetting about everyone else.

 

Happens too often in romance RP's - even though it tends to drive them into the ground. Always feels like 'race to the romance' or something.
