Golden overheard what Volt and Thy were planning. She didn't like the sound of that one bit. Levitating another glass case, this one was big enough for both Thy and Volt. Before placing it over them, she put a rubber partition inside it, seperating them both.

 

"Now hopefully you two won't get any ideas." She said to both Volt and Thylacine. Turning to Light, she apologised profusely. "I'm sorry I put your wife in there as well Light."

Light's eyes opened wide when he saw what happened. He had a feeling of intense anger for a short while after the incident, until he heard what Golden said about doing this act. "I understand." Said Light. "It's for the benefit of all of us."'he continued, nodding at Golden.

Golden cringed a bit when she saw Light's face turn into anger. He calmed down though and Golden returned to being slightly optimistic. Trotting over to Dan, she asked, "Have there been any new leads, because I don't have a single one. I honestly thought that the Egyptians had done it. According to the tape though, they didn't"

Looking at Doctor Volt made Golden cringe. "What do you want me to do Volt? Huh? Do you want me to kill you, because I am this close to snapping and if I hear one more word out of you, then it's good by Mr. Volt. Got that?" Golden whispered at Volt. Walking away, she really hoped that Volt wouldn't say another word.

Turning back around, Golden got an angry look on her face. "Let me tell you one thing Mister Volt. I am not a colt, I am a mare and secondly, buck off." She kept her tone measured and quiet. If he seriously didn't stop talking, Golden's going to freak out. "Oh yeah, and one last thing." She smirked as she levitated a chandelier over Volt's head. she let it drop and it crashed on top of him.

Golden Flames let out a breath she didn't realise she was holding and looked in Volt's direction. At least he wasn't being crazy anymore. Walking slowly to a corner of the room, she sat down and looked at the wall. Why did I do that? I didn't mean to ... he just made me snap! She thought to herself. With a start, she realised that Volt's body was still pinned underneath the broken chandelier. She quickly lifted the bits and pieces up and deposited them somewhere safe.

Light regained his senses, and made a quick shout to Golden. "I'm sorry..." He tried to yell, but failed to yell.

 

Dan watched what had occurred. He went to Golden and comforted her. "It's alright, you didn't mean it..." Dan said to Golden. "It was for the greater good." He continued. "Oh, yes, the leads!" He shouted. "I do happen to have a bit of information now." Said Dan. "Doctor Vanderveer was at his house when he was killed, so he was brought here by some means of flying, magic, or aircraft." Said Dan. "Next, the murder weapon was found to be an advanced type of pen. Built to write and kill." Said Dan. "So this murderer must be pretty tech-savvy." Said Dan.

Thy SIghed poking at her teloproter. Before anything crazy happend she teloproted out of there and went in front of golden Growling. She looked at golden with a glare that made the mare shiver in place. Thy Leaped at Golden with her fangs ready to rip the very fleah off her skin.

"Peace, be still, Golden." Said Dan. "We all have our inner demons, and they come out once in a while." Said Dan.

 

Light saw Thylacine leap at Dan and Golden. "No!" He shouted, he ran into Thy, ramming her off course. "Thy! Don't do this!" He yelled, in a commanding tone of voice.

Lee was watching everything going on in shock and disgust. unintentionally speaking his thoughts aloud, he said. "Geeze. You ponies are...well. I'm not sure what to think. All the changelings in my hive seem mild compared to everything going on in here."

 

Paladin

Paladin was getting a head ache from everything going on. Hanging upside down, trying to get some rest wasn't working. He finally flew down to the ground next to Thy, Golden, and Dan. "Alright. That's enough. They may be civilians, but I have the authority to make arrests and there are a few ponies here that are fixing to be tucked away deep in to one of the Lunar Guard's darkest prisons for a while."

Light overheard Lee. "Changelings?" He whispered. "Interesting..." He continued, stepping toward Lee. "Soooo.... How's it hanging?" Asked Light, in about as sly as a manner he could muster.

Thy growls at light . She just wanted to get out of here and go to bed. She jumps at light landing in hes back and bites hes wing hard tuging on it. She really couldent control herself. It was like a Drug. The "Drug" to kill and stealing as the spirts covenced her to do these things the past month. It felt good.

Light tugged his wing away from Thylacine. He knew what must be done. "Thy, I don't know what has gotten into you, but it's about time we fix it." He said. He shouted at Paladin: "Destroy the Eye Of Uadjit! Now!" He shouted, rubbing his wing, trying to shrug off the pain.

Dan, Light, and Masquerade laughed hysterically at the same time. "Oh, what a fool." Said Masquerade. "I hope she realizes that the stone has no more power over any of us!" He laughed, falling onto the floor. "He's right, you know!" Said Dan and Light simultaneously.

Thy felt very ... very dizzyy.... The world was spining as she slowly fell onto the floor. As she dident know . Eye Of Uadjit Was posiones and she ate it . She struggled on the ground as she tryed not to close her eyes. Thy tryed to stand but slide back onto the floor. Gosh that was a bad move, Silly Thy.

Dan watched from aside. "What has happened?" He asked himself. "No matter, I need to solve this crime." He said.

Meanwhile, BinaryPony has been hired to work in the forensics lab. He has always had an interest in such things, and was ready to start his first case. He had heard about the jewel and wondered if it would ever be recovered. "Man, would it be so cool if my first case was around the Menkaura?" Of course, he was laughed laughed at, and Binary returned to his work.

"W-what just happened?" Golden got up from her position and dizzily walked over to Light and Dan. "W-why is she on the floor. I've been t-t-trying t-to make sense of what-t I just did." Golden stuttered. She was in a very weak state of mind at the moment, trying to come to terms of what she did to Volt.

 

Starcover's eyes widened in fear when he saw that crazy pony from earlier faint. Feeling very flighty all of a sudden, he bolted outside only to crash into a large shield bubble.

Lee looked up at the detective, unaware that he'd voiced his thoughts aloud. "Oh, hi. Uh, pretty good. Just kinda tired."

 

Paladin 

Paladin looked at Dan and nodded. "Right. Well, I'm going to grab some of the night guard to secure the perimeter here, make sure no pony enters or exits." Saying so, he takes off through an open window.
