A brief thought about Pinkie in 'Daring Don't'

During the fan to fan debate between Twilight and Rainbow, Pinkie is seen nodding to what is being said. She then remarks "Y'know Rainbow Dash makes a pretty good point!" Many people probably thought something along the lines of: "Oh Pinkie, you don't actually know what they mean," but what if in actuality she did? Pinkie and Rainbow have been shown to share similar interests as of 'Griffon the Brush Off', Pinkie has been implied to have a photographic memory in 'A Friend In Deed' and 'Sonic Rainboom', and finally she is said to read often like the other Mane 6 in 'Read It and Weep'. I think that with this knowledge it is likely that Pinkie DOES in fact know what the two adorkable mares are talking about, and thinks RD really does have a good point. Just food for thought.

Hmm. You actually have a point. Pinkie Pie is obviously a lot smarter than most of us give her credit for.

 

Maybe in a later episode she'll come through as an actual fan of Daring Do. Nah, that's unlikely.

I don't know if Pinkie is a Daring Do fan or no, but I do know That she's smarter than most People think she is.

Yea, I see Pinkie as the dumbest smart pers- errr...pony you'll ever know. One minute she doesn't remember her own birthday, isn't tying up the ropes to a hot-air balloon in a dire situation, or chasing a "floaty thing", and the next she's speaking Spanish, stopping a parasprite invasion, or saying the exact dates of all of Ponyville's residents off the top of her head.

Honestly, it makes sense that Pinkie doesn't remember her own birthday but those of other ponies.

It is all part of her desire of making other ponies smile.

It does, but my point is that Pinkie is a very intelligent character that has very odd, random, and sometimes stupid moments.

Y'know, some people think of Pinkie as "not all there"... I just think she's on a higher level than most.

 

It's entirely possible that she's read the books. In fact, I bet she already knew A.K. Yearling was Daring Do.

I doubt that, but I think she's smarter than many members of the cast.
