Looks like Knuckles has been taking nanomachines, son. Considering sega's apparent track record with sonic lately, I'm almost certain this will suck ass. Also, bandages on footwear? Really sega?

Sonic Boom isn't being developed by Sonic Team though. And to be fair, Sonic Generations and Colors were really great. The Racing series and Mario & Sonic At The Olympics have been fun too. Their only serious missteps were Sonic 06, Black Knight, and Secret Rings. Lost World doesn't compare to those two.

 

Knuckles does look ridiculous and the bandages are weird though.

They should just go ahead and re-name the whole thing to 'Bandages and Sonic'.

 

Seriously, why so many bandages? I mean, okay, it looks kinda cool in a cheesy way, but... why? Is Sonic unable to run that fast without having chronic feet bleeding? Are their hands perpetually bleeding from doing all that non-existing punching? Tell me, what's going on? Will they bleed to death should I lightly poke them with a needle? D:

 

Anyhow... I've heard this is made by some of the people who've been working on... well, I don't know, but they're respected people, apparently. I wonder how it'll turn out.
