Mywas 687 February 8, 2014 Share February 8, 2014 Is it just me or does she seem like different people at the same body? Everytime she appears she seems different than her other appearance. It feels like the writers don't know what to do with her 2 Credits to Mint Drop for an awesome Sig.
Castle Bleck 19,440 February 8, 2014 Share February 8, 2014 They had something going in Wonderbolts Academy. But come Rainbow Falls? 1 By @Emerald Heart.↑
Scootalove 10,689 February 8, 2014 Share February 8, 2014 (edited) In Wonderbolts Academy, they actually did a good job with introducing her character and executing it by showing that she is a leader who is loyal, diligent, and has integrity to boot. But in Rainbow Falls, that went down the tubes. In a more specific term, continuity and consistency was thrown out the window in Rainbow Falls. Concord 1,982 February 8, 2014 Share February 8, 2014 Hello! Being a fan of Spitfire, I try to ignore most events that occured in Rainbow Falls. I like her for the character she showed us in Wonderbolts Academy which is a character I can relate to myself in real life. I find it sad how the last episode has swayed people away from her . 2 Thank you MatrixChicken for the Signature!
Megas 28,081 February 8, 2014 Share February 8, 2014 I had no idea what happened in Rainbow Falls. It would've been better just using new characters, or at the very least, just leave the bad guy role to Fleetfoot
Castle Bleck 19,440 February 8, 2014 Share February 8, 2014 @Megas75, They could get away with Fleetfoot, because we'd hardly seen any of her before. 1 By @Emerald Heart.↑
applejock 358 February 8, 2014 Share February 8, 2014 Typical Alpha female imo. She was quick to welcome RD when she thought her not a threat, even humbled by her saving her and the like. But the moment she found that Rainbow was not only her equal but would pass her by, she became all fangs and claws. Spitefire is older, and well worn in her role of leader of the Wonderbolts. She sees a bit threat in Dashie, and doesnt like to think her time is over. Her fashion of "pushing her out of the pride" is very femine, cruel, backstabbing, and largely verbal instead of being the more typical and well known approach of a male physically forcing a younger better lion out. But hey, what do I know! These are Ponies! Not Lions....right?!?! ---> Here be Fabulous Mare! <--- There be Brony! ***Fear the Hater, for they are out to taint your Perfection. Buck the Troll, for he would seek to stop the Fabulous flavor. For you are Brony, coated in Pearl, maned in fine Mulberry, eyes of the sky, and flanks of Diamonds. Your life is for the Lady, all hail the Queen, for Rarity, your life, for her.*** -Applejock
Singe 2,111 February 8, 2014 Share February 8, 2014 Wonderbolts Academy is Spitfire in uniform doing her job. Rainbow Falls is her representing Cloudsdale in the Equestria games in which RD is her competitor. Characters can have different faces, when they are in a different element/environment. Neon Fire 473 February 8, 2014 Share February 8, 2014 Yeah, I have to agree with you. I'm not really sure where that side of her came from in Rainbow Falls.
Talisman 31 February 9, 2014 Share February 9, 2014 She's like Bon Bon's voice: different every time we see her. Rainbow Falls did not show a very pleasant facet of her. Not totally out of character, I think, but . . . disillusioning.
ShadOBabe 19,023 February 9, 2014 Share February 9, 2014 Nice, casual Spitfire at the Gala was just her relaxed party mood. Strict, serious Spitfire at the Academy was her doing her job. But then there was Spitfire at Rainbow Falls. I could understand Spitfire being competitive, but they didn't pull it off very well in that episode. She came off as too underhanded. If anyone has a theory to back up why she was acting like this (besides the writers doing it just because SOMEONE had to provide the conflict), I'd love to hear it. 1 Check out my artwork any time: http://shadobabe.deviantart.com/ "OMG; You are such a troll. True Rarity 1,240 February 9, 2014 Share February 9, 2014 I think so, too. She's very nice at the Gala, very authoritative at the Academy, but at Rainbow Falls... Let's just say I expect more from her. 1 My deviantART
Orablanco Account 3,707 February 9, 2014 Share February 9, 2014 (edited) The character been ruined for me. Like everyone else said, I have no idea what they were thinking when they were putting together "Rainbow Falls". In one fell swoop, she went from cool and professional to dumb and overly douchey.
