Electrobolt noticed the growl in Speed's voice, but didn't say anything. Instead, he was thinking, *Why did she growl? Is she mad about something...?* He shook his head as he heard Olive speaking.

 

"ah...screw it. I'm sure I already look plenty crazy. Yeah, i'm from another world. Things are a little bit fuzzy in my recent memory, but I know for a fact I wasn't born in this place, and I certainly wasn't born a small equine. Is that a common thing here? Lots of...world hopping horsies? I'd have brought it up a bit sooner if I thought it was commonplace in this weird world." Olive sighs and sits down.

*Just like us when we first woke up...* he thought as he approached Olive. Sitting down next to him, he waited for Speed to finish talking before saying, "Anyways, joking aside, Speed's right. Just like you, we woke up, with barely any memories of our lives before we woke up here... Anyways, I haven't told you my name... Or rather, the name I'm taking on right now... It's Electrobolt." As Electrobolt looked to the sky, he noticed it was cloudier than normal. *Huh? But it was barely cloudy minutes ago...* he thought to himself, still looking at the clouds.

"I'm Cole." Cole introduced himself to Olive. "And yeah, there's a lot of horses here. The ones with wings are Pegasi, the ones with the horns are Unicorns, and the ones with neither are the Earth Ponies." he explained to the newcomer. "Yeah, that- that sounded confusing. But don't worry, you'll get the hang of it later."

Crystal Flame stood watching as the others introduced themselves to the new pony, his attention wandering elsewhere. How long has this conversation taken? Sheesh. It wasn't really like him to be impatient, but he attributed that to the recent events that were still making his head pound. I wonder what I should do when I get there. Explore or go for a job right away? And where would I live...? Shoot, this is too complicated.

 

He turned his attention back to the group, who were still busily chatting, and felt his temper rise. It wasn't like they had all day. None of them had any money on them, including him, and he knew their bellies wouldn't last forever on an empty stomach. The quicker the better, he thought glumly, waiting in vain for them to hurry up. He opened his mouth to say something to the group, but thought better of it. Nah, not like they'll listen anyway. Chatty lot, they are. Turning his attention instead towards...what was it? Ponyville Park? Yes, it was, he remembered, pleased that his tired brian hadn't failed him. And according to what little sense of direction he had, the park was northward. He had passed it on his way here.

 

 

Quickly marching in step, he trotted away down the street, pausing only once to look back behind him at the group. Still chatting. Not surprised, he thought as he turned to leave.

Speed was about to speak again, but noticed Crystal out of the corner of her eye. Where's he going? She thought, getting up. She trotted up to him, and tapped him on the shoulder. "You're not ditching me again, are you?"

 

(Sorry for the short posts guys, I've been feeling a bit sick lately.)

Electrobolt stared up to the sky for a few more seconds before shaking his head and returning his attention to the group around him. However, upon looking down, he noticed that Crystal and Speed weren't with them. *Hmm? Where did they go?* he thought to himself, looking around at his surroundings. Finally, he saw the two of them leaving the group. *Crystal must be looking for the park, but... Why is Speed going too?*

 

Confused, he shook his head. Looking back to Olive Branch, he said, "Um, sorry to leave on such short notice, but..." he began. "I've got to catch up with my friends. We were going to look for the park here..." Getting back on his hooves, he began to walk over to where Speed and Crystal were. However, he stopped after taking a few steps towards the two and glanced back towards the unicorn. *I really don't want to leave anyone behind... Especially with Discord around...* he began to think to himself. Finally he asked, "Um... Would you like to come along with us...?"

Olive stands up and nods at Electrobolt. "Considering I don't know anything about where I am, I feel that is a good idea. Why the park though? Is something going on there?" He gives his mane a shake and starts to walk along behind them "I'll lend you all a hand..er...hoof... if I'm able. I really don't know what that could be, but hey...when in Rome, and such"

Cole silently agreed with Olive's last statement. "Alright then. Let's go to wherever Speed and Crystal just went, I guess." he said.
