searching The Moon Rises (Searching)

It’s been seventeen years since Luna returned from her moon prison and three since Twilight Sparkle finally became the Princess she was destined to be. The Elements of Harmony are still strong and together, but despite the happy emotions that are filling the majority of the citizens of the land, there are some who are unhappy.

 

Luna’s escape from the moon has garnered what seems to be no attention; no one ever remembers the line “and the stars will aid in her escape”, after all. Now the stars are angry and seek revenge for their Queen, who promised them revenge for the cruel backs of the ponies on their own twinkling beauty in the night sky.

 

Serenity, a star who fell to earth for her devotion to her Queen and was rebuked by the reformed who did not wish her former treachery to be shown, is now sensing a sudden shift in the heavens. Concerned for the safety of her new home, which, in a sort of way, she has grown to love, she attempts to warn the Princesses, but their dismissal is even more disturbing.

 

Now faced with a fear of the army of stars, millions more than ponies, Serenity is attempting to gather a group together to fight back against those innocently sparkling lights in the sky, who threaten to burn Equestria with the flames of their revenge for the Queen – now Princess – who lied.

 

Rules:

1. No godmodding, no Mary Sues, no canon or fanon characters, etc. Your characters cannot, for example, be a Wonderbolt, a Princess, or a background pony. Your characters are also not permitted to be married to or friends with any show characters. They can mention them in reference, for example, but not any close relations.
2. No dragons, alicorns, draconequus, or any forms of hybrids, children, etc. of these races. Your race may have additional abilities so long as they do not break the canon sphere too badly (pegasi with powerful magic, etc.).
3. Listen to the DM (me). If you want to make a major change to the storyline you do not have permission to without asking me and receiving permission first. For example, your character cannot branch into their own story and totally dominate the whole original story with it.
4. You cannot control, kill, or heavily injure other characters without their creator’s permission. This includes the incredibly common and incredibly annoying taboo of saying “___ looked shocked after (your character) said they were fat”. That’s controlling the reaction of a character. That’s controlling. It’s my RP pet peeve so seriously, don’t.
5. I have every right to deny you entry to the RP, or later remove you from it. I will provide explanation for any removals. If I ask you to change characters or modify your character, you can either listen to and talk to me about it, or leave.
6. You may have two characters maximum.

Hehe, this is absolutely perfect! I just made a character that could be considered tailor made for this sort of thing! Believe me, if there's anypony who would believe the stars are a threat, itd be him!

I think this could be fun, and I haven't been in a strictly pony RP in a pretty long while. I think I'll be joining with Dawnblink. I understand his abilities may look a little overpowered, so if you aren't a fan I can tone them down or take some out all together.

Haha! Awkward is good! Nassir defintly wont like her (at first. Perhaps she can change that, but a hatred of the stars and such is a very deeply rooted part of him and his culture.), but he sees it as his only choice at the time. Its either one meteor, or an army of stars. He can atleast put his absolute fear and hatred of her specfically until after the mess is tied up. Might promise to kill Serenity herself once the main threat was gone, but thats just who he is

I would prefer you take out Beam and/or Blasting magic, or give him heavy limitations. Otherwise accepted.

I think I'll take out the blasting magic and make the beam magic have a heavy toll on Blink's stamina.

Be careful with the teleportation too; if it uses little stamina, it could potentially be over-powered.

The blinks are the only things that take low stamina. Long distance teleportation does take its toll on him. And I'll make sure he doesn't just spam the blinks.

@, Alright, sounds good. =3 Also, I do have a part-time job now, so my posting may be a bit awkward at times. (I won't be able to stay up late on nights that I have work the next day, I usually work the morning/midday shift so yeah.) Also, this Saturday I am going to spend the day at my sister's place in New Jersey. We are gonna go see a concert, go to an old fasioned arcade, and watch the Austin Powers movies. I will probably spend a bunch of Sunday catching up on sleep on top of that. I will have my ipod and internet connection though, so I should be able to post still.
