New OC "Solar Flare" (Criticism welcome)

Finally got around to doing a picture for her (busy doing school stuff -.-).

 

So this is Solar Flare, she and Toxic Hoof are best friends, she is an earth pony with the ability to super heat any part of her body.

 

To explain the fire wings, when she super heats a part of her body she can then create a fire arc, flare, which she can control.

 

p.s. It is just the sun in the background if you were wondering, not an explosion.

if thats the sun in the backround then the enviroment around the sun shouldn't be night blue or something

she wont be able to create an explosion like Toxic and the whole fire arc wings thing took years of training to master so she has the ability to become OP but that would take until she was like granny smith's age. Also she won't be able to sustain fire that is not in contact with her, so she won't be able to shoot fireballs unless the person she is aiming at is right next to her.

(I'm trying not to make my OC's op but I like things that are different in a big way)

 

Edit: She normally would only be able to do stuff like illumination or visual effects, not actually producing any heat at all.
