I've been interested in these games for a few years now. I saw the sequel on Wii but never ended up getting it.

 

Now I'll get the chance to play both. Definitely looks like they got the atmosphere down at least!

Okay okay - I guess I'm unclear what it is that makes a game like this interesting. Is it mainly a sort of retro-style game imitating older Resident Evil?

Not sure what you mean. It's a horror game, that's about all there is to make it interesting. Resident Evil has nothing to do with anything here.

Lovely to see a favorite horror coming back to the market, can't find a copy of the first game so this will grant me opportunity to get the chance.
