She stands beside our bed, staring at us while we sleep...If I look at her for any prolonged period of time, I give in. Dashtastic57 40 March 11, 2014 Share March 11, 2014 I hug my build a bear ponies sometimes. Especially Pinkie...cause she's my favorite and I put a bubblegum scent in her lol. But I can't bring myself to sleep with them. I found a 2D Pinkie Pie shaped pillow so I can cuddle with Pinkie and not mess up the other one. Win Win. And I think I took RD and Pinkie to my living room to watch the show once or twice. But that was when I first got them. Puts me on edge cause I have to listen for footsteps on the stairs so I can hide them. So I just opt not to. The four BaB ponies I have were taking turns sitting on my nightstand while I slept for a while, but now I mostly just put my rocker chick BJDs out instead. I have cuddled my Thumper (from Bambi) plushie twice now, because I was lonely and really needed a hug. It did help. I'd rather hug onto Rainbow though, come to think of it. sonicdude558 27 March 13, 2014 Share March 13, 2014 (edited) Ever since I got my first Twi plush off this really weird website, I cuddled her ever since, even during the times I was giving second thoughts on the fanbase (it's a long story, but I've gotten over it since). But lately its been worn out, and it is a bit inaccurate to say the least. So a month ago, I commissioned a plush off deviantart and when I got it, it was way bigger than my old one. On those nights where I'm cuddling it in bed, it would be very hard to wrap my arm around it (it's 16 inches tall). A long time ago I would sniff the (minky) fabric on my old plushie, and it would give off this sensation of my mind feeling really relaxed (don't worry I did not get high!) but that hasn't happened lately, nor do I want to try it again. Nowdays, I just cuddle my Twi plush because I think she's adorable. I don't think about going on dates with it, I just have "conversations" with it. I honestly think it might feel a bit... weird to cuddle with a pony plush, because then it's like, there's a character and personality attached to it, you know? It'd kinda feel like I was inserting myself into a stranger's life, I suppose... Or I could be completely wrong. It just feels like that's what it would, um, feel like. I'm starting to ramble now. rjrgmc28 130 March 17, 2014 Share March 17, 2014 Despite what other people think of it, I from time to time cuddle my pony plushies when I'm "in the wall" emotionally as they would say and also when I am stressed or anxious. I mainly cuddle my plushies to relieve some of the stress, anxiety and tension that builds up and also when I have a bad day at work or when my family decides to start a huge fight over my life choices that I have made. Also my Aspergers/Autism also comes into play due to the empathy part and feeling emotional, especially when it comes to watching episodes live or rewatching a certain segment and from time to time I reach for a plush (e.g Sweetie Belle) after an episode and have a cuddle. I f*cking love this plushie, man. I mean, we don't go on dates or anything. But we totally watch the new episodes together. And when I feel sad or something, I'll sit back in my chair and hold her, she'll listen to my probs and her smile will always be so assuring. ^^ That's not too weird...right?
