Who is “ours?” Our favorite is actual fall weather  (ya know, 50-60s). But hotter weather is good for being in the pool or the beach too.

In real life, no, but on picture dozens of times. I'm planning to learn star hopping though so I could see the planets! I did see some meteors during the meteor shower. The Perseids were amazing

Get yourself an Orion Dobsonian, 6” or 8” aperture. It’s all about aperture. I have a Powerseeker 5” but I think I could have a much better one… that doesn’t get the azimuth/elevation knobs jammed.
