Maaebjan hiked through the woods, slashing brush out of the way with his jian

"Ugh, so boring!" he moaned, kicking a rock out of the way. While his arm was feeling better, he was still not in the best shape. His foot caught on a rock and he tumbled down the hillside, falling facefirst into the dirt. He chuckled a bit as he got up. Okay, that was funny. As he got up, he saw a small house. Perfect, a place to raid some food...and kill.

The she-wolf froze for a moment, muscles temporarily tensing as the other wolf growled. But it didn't take long to figure out that he was simply wary of her - a natural reaction given what she had done to him in the grip of hunger-driven instincts. She relaxed when he did. She then gave a soft huff as she lowered her head, and walked towards him. Each step was slow, deliberate, to make certain that it would not be interpreted as a move to attack. She was limping slightly due to the cut in her hind leg.

She was standing, yes, but in no shape to hunt. Her hurt leg would slow her down and give her a disadvantage in chasing prey; and her broken nose was the biggest hindrance of all. It made her entire muzzle feel sore, and biting down hard on something - such as to bring down an animal - would only bring another shock of pain. She let out a soft whine, remaining as non-aggressive as possible. If there was the chance that a fellow wolf could help her in such a dire situation, who was she to deny herself that chance?

As she drew close his ears purked up and his nose twitched. He could see her current shape. No way could she catch herself something that would be alive. And in her size, something bigg would have to be needed. He made a risky move, to bring her to his little hut. His tail wagged. As she walked slowly, he tried to lead her to the hut, watching ever step. Running ahead to check if everything was clear, then waited for her to catch up. It was a repetitive cycle of run and watch. But it got the job done. Luckily, it didn't take long before they reached the hut.

He waited for her to make it to the hut entrance. He wondered if aiding her in her walking would help, or crush him due to her size. He sat by the entrance tail wagging, mouth open and tongue hanging out, breathing in and out hastily.

"Ill keep my gun thank you....so explain what you saw?" Short circuit asked.

By the time they reached the hut, she was panting laboriously, her body realizing the exhaustion that had settled deep into her fatigued muscles. Her energy was nearly depleted now, having gone so long without food to rejuvenate her. The only thing that had really kept her going before was the frenzy, the adrenaline that compelled her to continue.

Chilly bones took it to himself to find something to feed the she wolf. Feeling it was his responsibility to keep her from dying. He knew of a beaver dam that wasn't far from where he was, on a nice river that ran down deep into the forest. It was one of the reasons why he made camp here.

He didn't make much communication with her besides a grunt before taking off. He scaled the river, walking up and down trying to figure out where the dam was again. It didn't take long before seeing a huge pile of wood and sticks, with the touch of mud and moss. He used the sides of the river to get close, he then took a paw out, and into the shelter, and cautiously got ontop of it. He then realized it was stable enough to support his weight, before digging and clawing at the top of the dam, shoving his muzzle in to pierce the walls of the beaver home.

Once he broke through, his head thrusters right into the ceiling of the dam. Scarring the beavers into a frenzy. Some ran...or swam off. While others used their cricket bat like tales to smack him away. But luckily he caught one of the tails and dragged one out to the side of the river. It struggled to get free, but chilly bones didn't let go.

He then dropped it and went down quickly to bite its neck, and twisting his head to get a deeper bite. He didn't stop the pressure of the bite until it was motionless. He tasted the blood of the arteries gushing into his mouth. And at that he relieved the pressure, just enough to hold it comfortably to bring it back to the she wolf.

He quickly made his way back, bring a male beaver, and a descent size at that. He cautiously walked up to her, and lowered his head keeping his eyes locked on her. And he released the animal slowly and pushed it with his muzzle up to the she wolf. He then raised his head took a step back, licked his lips from the blood, now staining the white fur around his mouth. He watched to see if she accepted the offer he brought.

The she-wolf huffed quietly as she carefully lied down, minding her injured hind leg. She rested there while the other wolf took off to hunt for her. Being more of a loner, she normally wouldn't have accepted this help - but never had she been in a situation such as this. Unable to hunt for herself, and going mad from the terrible hunger. The only reason she had her senses about her now was because she was simply too exhausted to lash out and go into another frenzy.

She waited silently until Chilly Bones returned. And he did indeed return with food. She would have pounced and taken the beaver right from his grasp if she could have, the smell was so appealing to her. The scent of any sort of meat was heavenly to the hungry wolf. Her yellow eyes tracked the other wolf's movements, watching as he pushed the creature towards her. There might have been a time where she would have considered whether or not to take the offer, but her hunger decided for her. She sniffed the beaver a couple of times, and then immediately dug in, tearing into the dead animal's flesh with vigor. The action felt somewhat odd with the missing teeth - feeling where those teeth were supposed to be - and it hurt her nose a little, but she was too hungry to care. She ate as quickly as she could manage.

Chilly bones didn't do much besides lick his lips, sort've made him jealous that he couldn't have the prey he rightfully took. But that was just his instincts tell him to screw her over, and be selfish. He saw as she had a crazed look in her eyes, full of hunger, the worst thing a werewolf could do was let hunger control them. He knew that well.

After a while of watching he decided to turn to his humanoid form. As he changed from lupine to humanoid, bones popped into place, fur disappeared, physical shape of his bones changed, and his wings sprouted from his back. And his hair grew in. Now in his humanoid form, his hair was a type of scene look, and he wore denim shorts, that were obviously pants at one time before being ripped into shorts. He had no shoes or shirt on. He looked at her as she ate. "Bloody fuckin mess ya making there, huh?" He said sarcastically, in a nice way...I guess, before going inside and grabbing his Pistol. He walked outside and sat down a few feet from the humongous she wolf, he put the gun in the back of his shorts before saying " just taking hold of this....and don't try assaulting me again, don't think I won't dare put a bullet in your head because I got you food. Couldn't keep it under control could ya? Stupid..." He felt a little defensive after the shoulder bite.he took a quick glance at his poorly done stitches....still poorly done.

By the time Chilly Bones had decided to shift to humanoid form, the she-wolf was already beginning to crunch on the bones of the beaver she was so ravenously consuming. More preoccupied with her food for the moment, the only response she gave to the sound of the male's voice was that of instinct as her ears perked to pick up the sound. When her ears did perk, it was made more obvious that a small chunk had been torn from one of them, leaving what appeared to be a bite mark.

The distinctive scent of a gun - a smell she had quickly learned to recognize well - caused her to pause for a moment as her topaz gaze snapped to the object in question, in the male's hand. She tensed up yet again, fur bristling somewhat until the male spoke again, essentially saying that it was just to be on the safe side. After hearing what he had to say afterwards elicited a somewhat annoyed grunt from her, but she showed no other reaction aside from that as she continued gnawing the last vestiges of gristle and meat from the bones.

The she-wolf let out an apologetic whine, her eyes on the male while she absentmindedly licked the bones of her meal. She would have tried to say that she couldn't be held responsible for her actions earlier, for she had been crazed with hunger - but at the moment, she was, well, a wolf and thus couldn't speak.

When he asked if she would need more, she looked down at the leftover bones of the carcass before her and then back to the male. She shook her head, slowly sitting up. Likely, she would have to hunt for something more later on, when her injuries heal up, but for now what had been given to her would suffice.

So now that the hunger had finally been tamed, she found it safe to shift back into her humanoid form, if only so she could communicate with the male beyond grunts, whines and body language. After going through the unpleasant transformation back into humanoid form - unpleasant, though marginally less so than the change form humanoid to lupine - there sat a female that appeared to be in her late 20s or early 30s. She had no wings and no horn, being of the Earth Pony race. Her dark hair had the slightest wave to it, and fell just past her shoulders; her eyes were now a much warmer golden brown; and she was wearing the clothes she had been before this entire ordeal began: jeans and a t-shirt, although these clothes seemed quite the worse for wear than they were to begin with.

The first thing that hit her when she transformed back was the pain in her broken nose, realized once more. She groaned, immediately holding her hand to her nose. "Ugh, that hurts more than I thought it would," she grumbled to herself, seeming to feel her injuries more intensely now that she wasn't in her tough she-wolf form.

Galatea groaned again, her hand still over her mouth as she ran her tongue over the gaps where her teeth had been ripped out. Yep, that other guy certainly had done a number on her - and for what? She was the one that had picked a fight with him. Though she found it somewhat ironic that after challenging two other werewolves, it had been a humanoid creature that caused her the most damage. She was definitely going to need to firstly see a doctor for her broken nose and secondly a dentist for those teeth. But she'd worry about that later, once she got back to town.

When Chilly Bones mentioned that what she'd had wasn't going to be enough for her, she slowly lowered her hand. "It'll be enough for now," she stated. She frowned when he winced in pain, knowing that she had been directly responsible for that shoulder wound.

"I'm no doctor," she said, "but I think you should have that shoulder looked at..." And while they're at it, they could probably do something about my nose, she added in her thoughts. Not that it was too big of a problem for her, seeing as she lived close to town, but she didn't know how Chilly Bones would feel about that, especially since this hut that he presumably lived in was here in the forest rather than somewhere near the town. It was this kind of situation where Galatea wished that her talent had been for medical care rather than engineering. She would have much preferred to take care of herself when this kind of thing happened, and it would have been helpful if she could have been able to treat her fellow werewolf's injuries as well.

But, no. That wasn't the talent she was inherently born with, and she had to live with that. Just as she had to live with the curse in her blood.

Chilly bones shrugged "um....I'm not to found of that idea. I mean, they could find out we are one of the gifted" he said referring to the blood they shared, the blood that allowed them to be apart of the wild. To be in sync with Mother Nature. He had always thought of the wolf blood as a gift, as he enjoyed being wild. Sure it had its costs, but the experience of being something more than just a worker in a hive. Was so much more than anything he had ever encountered. The hunters, and celestia just don't understand them, and instead fear them. That's how he saw it. Galatea cursed under her breath as Chilly Bones made a frustratingly valid point. Doctors were the ones that were the most likely to discover the werewolf blood in any given pony. As such, either of them visiting the doctor wasn't a highly recommended course of action - especially for Chilly Bones, as the doctors probably would draw blood to test for rabies as he said. Galatea would just have to deal with it; the broken nose and her cuts would heal eventually, and a few missing teeth wasn't that much of a concern to her. But Chilly Bones... his injury was more serious. He needed someone with medical knowledge to properly treat that shoulder wound.

"I forgot about that, ugh... How dumb can I be?" she first chastised herself. Clearly her mind wasn't working to the fullest of its ability, for she should have known better about suggesting a visit to the doctor in the first place. She took a deep breath and released it in a long sigh before she looked at the male once more. "I'll be fine without a doctor, but that shoulder... I don't suppose you know anyone around here with medical knowledge that won't want to report our blood condition or put a bullet in our heads for said condition?"

Of course there wasn't. What other person would want to live out here in the secluded forest? That is, aside from any other werewolves that may have been living in the area...
