I cannot believe ChatGPT's poor AI. Not much that can be done, and they do warn upfront that it can make mistakes to everybody who uses the app. But I've had a not so fun experience with it last night, when it misunderstood the context of the word "but" in a sentence. But can, but not always be, a synonym of except or exclude. One example, anything but.

I'm convinced I will have to use pencil and notepad to finish my fanfic. I don't want to wrestle with the brain farts against bots. I probably shouldn't be upset about the mistakes AI makes, it's a non sentient being and plus anything typed there is anonymous so who cares, but it is clear as day that AI is nowhere near as good at grammar as humans are. Some decisions ought to be made by humans only IMO.
