Has anyone else ever gotten a brain freeze just from drinking ice water or just me?

I've gotten brain freeze from drinking a slushy before, definitely not a unique thing, happens often.

A change in external circumstance seems to have little connection to internal change. I am surprised to feel no more or less inclined to perform certain tasks in this new environment than in the old one. So much has change and nothing has changed at the same time and it is only through internal change that I’ll be able to make the most of this new environment. :mlp_huh:

It is so interesting that you talk about this. I have been recently reading into stoicism and it literally discusses this very thing. I have been attempting to apply what I have read. I understand it on an intellectual level, but processing it or applying it emotionally is where the challenge can be at times.

There's an oversight I have to correct later on in my fanfiction, that inconsistency only happened because I wanted to add the latent memory part for past lives, and I need to clarify that all past life memories will be retrievable once characters end up in Nirvana.

I can't believe some people actually think CMC in MLP FIM are annoying, as if to say they should not get screen time. Are people suggesting that a story should simply ignore the existence of children with a seen and not heard mantra? I'm tired of seeing that ageist implication. Yea CMC are hyperactive, so what? that behaviour is common with young individuals, doesn't mean they don't deserve a caregiver who is patient, empathetic and understanding of them, and I believe that was the point the episode Stare Master was making, among the biting off more than we can chew part.

I had a discussion with Snoopy Fan and he liked the ideas for later part of the fanfic I'm thinking of doing

I actually think Cutie Mark Crusaders remind me of how I wish to be, and if I got my wish, which I cannot as it is impossible, but if I got reincarnated in Equestria in a fantasy world scenario, I too, would become a child again, a Pegasi foal who grows up in an unfamiliar world, and like them, I would have innocent curiosity and would desire pure hearted fun, I can relate to that. The thought of getting old and dying, scares me. Being young again would be very nice, and while CMC would not yet be born yet as of the time my OC is born, it will happen in this story.

Moreover, being older than CMC even in that timeline, my OC would be reminded of that innocence of youth when looking at CMC, and find them endearing, and the thought of them being hurt by anyone would disgust me greatly and I'd do whatever it takes to protect them, and unfortunately that is going to have grim consequences for my OC in the encounter with Queen Chrysalis I am thinking of writing in. Whether that would be considered foolish or brave, I don't really care, if it had to be done, my OC representing me, would help CMC escape even if it meant Chrysalis doing away with my OC.
