The way some subtitles are being used nowadays is annoying me, because I find that the way they intentionally use them in a way to get your attention to be obnoxious. The following is a rank from the best to worst type of subtitles:

1. Conventional subtitles showing a phrase or up to two sentences worth of text -- plain and simple.
2. Similar to above, except the word spoken is highlighted in some way at the moment of utterance -- sing-along style.
3. The subtitles are not immediately shown, but instead is being gradually revealed word-by-word as they are spoken, and the word spoken is highlighted in some way.
4. Only one word is shown at a time: the word spoken at that very moment.

Meet me at the friendly old ladies' house for a pizza dinner visit in the afterlife as they amusedly explain to me with a smile how painful the last moments before death are. Meanwhile at my job on the living world a deranged Homunculus is writing shit on the wall and screeching and running around making fun of a woman who died suddenly in my dream by getting hit by a lorry and a coworker is telling me this creature WHO IS ALSO A COWORKER isn't taking the death well.

I can't have normal dreams in this life. well, the old lady pizza dinner with the dead was a friendly atmosphere... why did I even want to take the bus back to the living world where I have a job that risks death by lorry am I stupid in my dreams there's PIZZA in the afterlife?!? Not to mention THAT PARANORMAL ENTITY COWORKER with 0 coping mechanisms?! I swear to god coworkers are the worst

I'm with the people here that don't like their jobs  I'm having such trouble finding anything, though, and I have absolutely no idea what I specifically would like to do. I'm also not going back to school under any circumstances because I can't stand school.  I'm sick of people suggesting it like it'll solve all my problems even though I can't manage to get a practical degree like a medicine or law degree. The things I want to study won't guarentee me a job at all.

I feel you, I would attempt 4836937537 degrees if I could but none of them would make me money... it feels so cynical to reduce the noble pursuit of knowledge to just studying what will make you the most cash. I adoooore learning but I don't think I can motivate myself to learn stuff I simply do not care about.

I have considered sneaking into uni lectures in the past but there's no uni nearby to attempt this :3

I'm a little POed that my neighbor's fireworks put a little dent in my car. Hopefully I will have a day off during the weekdays next week so I can still get it fixed under my warranty. There's a few other things I want looked at, too.
