Roleplay Thread: HERE

 

 

The Doctor having kept things in tack in time and space decides it's time to disappear and take a little vacation. The Tardis drops into the world of Equestria and transformed him into a pony. Trying to fit into the new world so that he can relax and have a good time he starts to meet and make new friends. Unfortunately things won't be so cheerful once enemies from his zone start crossing over into the world of Equestria and are having the same thing happen to them and becoming pony versions as well. Your OC's have befriended the Doctor and now need to help him fix the holes in time and space that appear to stop his enemies from destroying Equestria.

 

Rules:

 

• No God Modding, I mean do I really have to explain this one...it kills the mood of the RP so just don't if I see it I'll drop you without hesitation.
• Spelling is Key, I'm not a grammar hater so small stuff isn't going to bother me. Just make sure to keep spelling to a legible state.
• Post at least 1-2 times a week, I'd like this to go at a good pace but not so fast that each person has like 2 pages of text to read. So please make sure that there's at least 2 posts before you post again, this gives everyone a chance to keep up.
• Keep within the timeline. (Ha see what I did there...you know cause it's Dr. Who.....no ok then) Like it says, if the story is going in a certain direction don't just throw in Weeping Angels attacking out of nowhere. Plan it out then run it through me if you want to make a big suggestion.
• Have fun, it's a roleplay for Celestia's sake just have fun and enjoy yourselves. If you have any problems please let me know.
• No harassing or picking on other players. Seriously I'm not going to explain this one.
• No Alicorns, Sorry guys but we don't need such powerful characters in this RP.
• Romance, yes it's allowed but keep it PG-13 if you're going to have some alone time  do it outside of the RP.
• Enemies will be played by all members. Since most of them are in groups that means everyone will get to play them.
• Combat, is not something to take lightly. Your characters can die in this, so be careful how you go about playing things out. Also you can't just go and dodge everything an enemy throws at you. You have to take damage, and the same goes for the villains too.
• The Doctor, the person playing the Doctor gets to choose what form he takes. Logically if you think about it the lower the number the more chances you have to regenerate. The person also controlling the Doctor can also make new versions if they so choose once they hit 13.

You need to provide me with a link to your OC or otherwise ask me if you're wanting to play the doctor. Just going "hey I wanna join pick me pick me" won't get me to let you join.

I'm not going to say it is cause that would be a buzz kill for the RP but I'm going to say that it can happen but more so if the person playing wants it to happen to their character.

 

As for your character....I didn't say that dragons couldn't be in this so good job on throwing me a curve ball. I'll let him in just as long as you don't over power him like give him the ability to lift like huge boulders the size of houses or anything or make him like super tough to beat in combat ok.

Sounds like we have at least 2 who want to be the doctor.  I would have tried for it but if others want to i'd rather they try since one or both of them may not have an oc.   and the doctor I'd pick is a classic one which I'm sure most here are half my age and have no knowledge of the classic series.

 

As for Rakon's strength level I've never done him as super strong, more like average or a bit above average compared to mares around the main 6's age. 

 

I'd have a pony oc but though i do have ideas for ponies I never can get ideas for a pony style name, nor any cutie mark ideas.  And since i do like dragons that is why I made a dragon oc instead, for the EQE section.  The only oc dragon in the oc section that is rped.  I've never seen the other one in any rp threads in the EQE section.

If the Doctor option is still available I'll take it or (at least 4th or 8th increation). I would be a  good Doctor becuase  I, like not many whovains, listen to the Audio Dramas by Big Finish and the like.  If I can not be The Doctor , here is my OC:

As for Rakon's power level. Since he is an approved for EQE character he as to be canon possible.  So able to  swim & float in lava with no harm, check, seen dragons, including Spike do that on the show.  Eat gems & rocks, and things that would make a pony sick (like the baked bads (forgot the episode name) check, seen that on the show. Lifting heavy boulders, not canon possible for dragons of his size.  Able to walk on clouds, check, though we've not seen dragons walking on clouds, we have seen all sorts of winged creatures, including pegasii doing that.   Breath fire, check, they have shown dragons doing that on the show.  EQE is more strict then these non EQE rp areas.   So overall I'd say he's as powerful as ponies are.

Thank you I'll take The Doctor and you won't regret it! I'll start with the 4th and going from there, but I may do some Team Doctor story  way down the road. In that case, is it ok if I play the other 3 Doctors?
