Rarity Paige Belle 1,854 April 3, 2014 Share April 3, 2014 Right now I'm collecting the build a bear ponies, but which company should I go for next? Beautiful, Stylish, Fabulous AND evil! Frostgage 7,975 April 3, 2014 Share April 3, 2014 Definitely 4th Dimension Entertainment. They only have Twilight and Pinkie right now but they look amazing, and they're going to make the rest of the Mane 6 at some point. Check them out here: http://shop.4de.com/ 1 Signature by Lacerna | You should fill out my Johari Window. All the cool kids are doing it.

Felix 1,363 April 3, 2014 Share April 3, 2014 4th Dimension Entertainment! Definitely. But, just be aware, the quality also makes them expensive. If you get all six (once all six are actually out) you're talking more than $140 probably. Credit to Kyoshi for the awesome signature!

Frostgage 7,975 April 3, 2014 Share April 3, 2014 Are they official merch though? I think they're an independent company if that's what you mean. But they look better than anything Hasbro makes. Felix 1,363 April 3, 2014 Share April 3, 2014 Are they official merch though? Agreed with Frostgage here. I see why you may be questioning that though. I see why you may be questioning that though. Are you just looking for what Hasbro actually makes? Indeed I am. That's why I started off with build a bear. Because although they do look kind of odd, at least I know they're official. Edited April 3, 2014 by Princess Sunbutt Beautiful, Stylish, Fabulous AND evil! What more could you want? Frostgage 7,975 April 3, 2014 Share April 3, 2014 Sorry what I mean is are they you know, legally allowed to produce MLP products. They probably would have been shut down by now if not. I doubt you would get in trouble just for buying one, anyway. Signature by Lacerna | You should fill out my Johari Window. All the cool kids are doing it. Dattebayo 2,850 April 3, 2014 Share April 3, 2014 The best plushies are the fanmade ones. Unfortunately, they are also the ones who's creator's have gotten so far up their own a$$es they charge like 60 or 80bucks for one. Still, though...there's no denying the quality. I'll link, if you're interested. ^Click for my Deviant Art^ You truly are the Rosa Parks of not understanding what r34 is.

KarentheUnicorn 218 April 3, 2014 Share April 3, 2014 I actually like the build a bear ponies. So I'm guessing that build a bear are the only 'official' plushie producer? No, there are a couple of others, TY (people who make beanie babies) is making some, and another company, think it's called aurora or something like that. Sorry, bad on the remembering the names. There are also some that are generally sold at walmart, I have an applejack, she's fairly cute but I can't remember which company she is if it's hasbro or something else. I just bought her because I liked her, didn't pay attention to the company name.
Felix 1,363 April 3, 2014 Share April 3, 2014 So I'm guessing that build a bear are the only 'official' plushie producer? Actually, Hasbro does have their own plushies. Official ones. I own one. I got it from Comicon though, so I couldn't tell you where to get them naturally because I don't know. 1 Credit to Kyoshi for the awesome signature! ghostfacekiller39 23,860 April 8, 2014 Share April 8, 2014 When it comes to overall quality and selection, Aurora wins it hands down. They have all of the mane 6 in high quality, and some even come in little purses Also, I bought my Aurora Rarity for less than $20. Now, if 4DE would get off of their asses and make more than just Twilight and Pinkie, they'd win hands down. They have the best plushies you can get anywhere - but they've only released two ponies. I've got my Build A Bear Rares in my lap right now, and I love her so much She's got such a pretty mane and is so...so BIG Of course, she was a costly little darling, but I think she was worth it Last, but not least, Funrise - their plushies are cheaply made, mass-produced and very, VERY low quality. I have one because of Rarity, but I'd stay away from these unless you're desparate for a plushie, like I was when I bought my Funrise He who is Positively Obsessed With All Things Rarity!!! ~Silver Essence~ 2,625 April 9, 2014 Share April 9, 2014 Well, build a bear does a pretty decent job at it. Though, I wouldn't specify as to which company, as they tend to go with Hasbro's demand at making them as they are usually. But, fan made plushies are usually way more better and constructed! For example, here's one by deviantart user Lavim, and her excellent production of Rarity!
