Hey guys, Foxx here with an interesting idea.

 

Now, I have only been doing fanart for 2 months, and this was my first piece I ever did, before I knew anything about art:

 

 

 

 

I took me an entire week, and at the time, I thought I was awesome for making it.

 

Now, here is an example of my most recent piece:

The first signature banner I made, back in 2012. (The forum I made it for had a darker background, so it was easier to make out back then)

 

 

And my most recent sig, as you can see in my, well, sig. Made just a few days ago.

 

 

Along with a couple others, that I made just this year.

 

 

 

An improvement for sure. And they were, in fact, all made using the same software (Paint.NET).

Not bad progress for someone with no previous experience. I've probably lost half of what I worked to develop   . Ah well, that's how it goes.

It Isnt about comparing yourself with other people it is about comparing youself with yourself and seing how much you have improved.

Well the first pony I drew was this, and my latest drawing of him is here. Although this is a better estimate for first, since I had just gotten my art tablet and was just getting used to drawing with it, and the first first was so bad largely because I was drawing it so small.
