It's an insanely customizable fighting game engine that has been used by top-tier games like Street Fighter, Marvel Vs. Capcom, Guilty Gear, and games of that ilk.

You can customize ANYTHING in this game...

The character select screen, the music that plays on any different menu, the characters, the stages...Even the health bars!

 

There are literally characters for EVERYONE, too.

I've seen some good Rainbow Dash chars made too, from before I was a brony.

Literally...if you can think of that character, it's most likely been made.

 

Man, I must've made like...woof...3 entire ones in my time?

It's great fun making one. A bit tough at first, but worth it in time spent tinkering and customizing every little aspect of yopur MUGEN.

Like the Honda Civic Mugen Si? They only made 1,000 units, and the vehicle had an MSRP of $29,500 in the United States. Very pretty. Well, It's a Civic, so it's obviously very pretty,

I downloaded MUGEN and found a few sprites from the canceled Fighting is Magic game. I have all the Mane Six on my roster, but some are more glitchy than others.

You raised my hopes and dashed them quite expertly, sir! I was expecting MUGEN, you know, like vroom-vroom VTEC MUGEN. That kind of MUGEN. The REAL MUGEN.

If you don't mind my asking, are you a car customizer or mechanic?

The only reason I asked is because I remembered MUGEN as the one of the racing customizers in the Gran Turismo games.
