Efforts combined oc

Me and my friend had worked together to make a pony oc and here is what we came up with:

So how did we do?

1. I really like her color scheme.

 

2. The outfit is interesting without being overly extravagant

 

3. As with all ponies with weapons, I really have to question how they would even use them. Unicorns get a pass because magic, but if I stop to think about it, pony weaponry should have unique designs to fit their anatomy. /rant

 

4. The muzzle is... off. It kind of looks like she has an anthropomorphic nose, rather than a pony muzzle. If the curved line was less of a semi-circle I think it would work better.

 

5. She has a very strong chin for a mare. Mares tend to have more rounded chins.

 

Overall, I rather quite like it! But I am also a critical person by nature, so please don't take any of my statements too harshly.

I really like the armour design, very unique. Same goes for the bow. Kudos for the shading on the metal as well.

-the armour does look a bit too close to the body, bulking it up a bit would help

-the hoof protectors on the forelegs seem are a bit too high on the back of the hooves, they look like they would prevent her from bending her joints

-the forelegs sit a bit too close to the front of the body
