@Scribblegroove

I noticed your status update so I kinda knew what was going on for you :) but thank you so much for taking the time to reply and letting me know what was going on.

That's exactly the type of response I'm looking for; I mostly want to know if people have lost interest and I should open up new spots in the RP or even if I should start to consider calling it. The RP concept kinda revolves around all the players interacting with each other, so maybe with all our different schedules it was a bit too ambitious.

I'm just waiting for the meeting to be over.

Then I'll do some monologue with Cryptical Code recruiting more ponies into his organization(s ^^)

Okay, good this is making me feel more confident about it about the RP again :P

The meeting was just to make you all connect and give you a pony to ask any questions you might have about the world and different situations around Equestria. If you are unsure about any other organizations, such as the Rebels, the Sunrise Inquisition, ponies around and close to Celestia, any of that stuff you can ask the Raven; it's very well connected. But you'll be able to speak with it later as well.

If you want to leave the meeting my last post of the Raven at the table offered to let the meeting end or for anyone that wants to sit and discuss to stay and still discuss.

But didn't the raven already leave and talk to Radiance?

Also I was just waiting on someone else to post. I didn't wish to be the person who decides if we stay or leave since I'm fine with either.

Nope, the Raven will be waiting in the room until everyone else leaves, it will also be down in the basement to meet Double Barrel as soon as he gets down there to treat Radiance. Take that to mean whatever you want about the Raven :P not that your OC's would know anyways ;)

Wow, I've never played any of the Layton games but some of the similarities are actually pretty eerie.

It is a conspiracy! D:

I'm just imaging a group of the Raven just sitting there planning. Like perfect copies. xD

Laugh while you still can! Gah, honestly imagining a bunch of them in a room together, acting like I imagine they do, with twitchy bird motions and tendencies plus their genderless emotionless voices seriously gives me goose bumps!

I know it was commented before in response to the Raven that maybe I like birds too much but really I'm pretty indifferent on birds, except when they're done right; then I find something about them exceptionally creepy

in my opinion, with Radiances dealings with the Raven is the he is far too straight forward. So quick to kill a pony that needs to be killed, so quick to destroy the life of a pony. While deliciously sadistic, I have found that he does not leave much to the imagination. I have been able to predict pretty much every one of his actions. I knew he would ruin Hopes life in some manner, I knew he would kill one of the recruits, and I knew that he would kill all his thugs in that room. Personally I find the obscure and indirect far more creepy than the direct action. I believe the Raven could really benefit from a healthy dose of chaos or randomness to really fit his character and make him far more disturbing. I like his personality, and I am just stating my opinion. Dont mean to offend at all, but you asked earlier what we thought of him.

To be honest, I'm waiting for you to reply to my post. I also assume that just because someone takes control of the throne doesn't mean the RP is over, right?

No, control of the crown doesn't matter until all the plotters have been dealt with or decide they are comfortable with the positions they hold.

And sorry to keep you waiting, I'm actually writing my reply now; it's just that Tempest is hours ahead of everyone time wise. For him it's already near dawn, since he did fly all the way out to Ponyville.

I find that kind of funny because the way the Raven is dealing with Radiance right now it has a point and a plan that it is acting out and wants to see it play out perfectly (Radiance's is frustrating it by not responding exactly how it wants and that's why it's actually acting all lovey dovey with her) whereas when the Raven is dealing with the ponies at the table it has no real plan or expectations so it has more freedom to be obscure and silently observing while taking whichever side it fancies. So in a way I guess you just met up in the wrong place at the wrong time :P Edited by Torrent505

I'm presuming its okay to use backup characters for minor points and so on? If anyone does try to contact Jade, it will be Cinder they meet in the store:

http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/cinderblock-r3563

Just say if its a problem, but Jade prides herself on having an elaborate array of contacts so it would be nice to use some from time to time. :P

Never quite forgotten.

You nailed it, side characters are going to be very important. I'll need to approve each and I'd be happy to help anyone create other characters or control them. Nightfury gave me a description of how he wanted Athena to be and we worked out her backstory, Golden Sheild is in the process of fitting another of his OC's in as well.

But only ones with particular backgrounds or positions need to be worked out like that; as a mare in your organization Cinderblock is of course approved. :)

As I've mentioned before I kind of have a head-cannon universe that this RP is based in, and it basically leads to the show and then a constantly changing future as the show continues. So with that in mind I know how this RP would have played out if none of your characters got involved on the treason side, so I know when you guys change history...

It's strange to think of that way, but what Tempest just did (attacking innocent royal guards on the border of rebel territory) combined with Radiance's situation (the death of 5-6 recruits) on the same night will lead to a true war between Celestia and Oath Taker. This never would have happened as the two would have remained in a stand off with secret peace negotiations, until the other threats became more apparent and Oath moved to help defend her instead.

So already you've created a war that would have been just stewing skirmishes. I'm thinking about making a timeline to inform you guys what you change but that would reveal too much; I think I'll just inform everyone when a major change to history is made... History will usually find a way to restore itself to the proper path, like if you all disappeared again Celestia and Oath would settle their differences as the darker threats came to light.

Technically of course the goal of this RP is to completely change history/the future and claim Equestria for yourselves; I just never thought of it that way and how your action would effect what comes later.

Unless nobody cares and this isn't as interesting to everyone else as I find it, then just let me know and I'll keep it to myself :P I thought it was cool you guys are already having ripples on the future.

Change history huh? Interesting.

As for other OC's I have two others that can be worked into the RP in the future perhaps but as of right now I'm not sure if I see a way for them to join in. Well maybe one of anyway one's an insane killer and the other is a mage so if we need one of those I'm your guy XD

That's funny. You assume that Tempest will let any of the rebels live. No. If war does start, it'll be between the solar empire and New Lunar Republic. (

It is rather interesting. I'm wondering what Cryptical Code's organization(s) could change.

Close to getting them done. (Mostly the skeletal plans of the organization(s).)

I'm glad to hear you guys actually want to hear that type of stuff :P haha thanks for the support, it's only going to encourage me to figure out more stuff to add in ;) ...like some of the genealogical history of show characters and background characters, which I won't lie I kind of had already decided two of them before even thinking about this RP having effects. So technically if you guys kill the wrong ponies, the mane six, Derpy, Lyra, Scootaloo, pretty much anypony I decide to come up with a past for could get erased from the future/never be born. Hmm I find this idea a lot more fun than I had originally even realized haha

I love that kind of stuff - its the type of thing that I always try to aim for. Cause and effect, consequences of actions and so on... it's awesome for roleplaying.

Probably why I loved playing Mass Effect and Dragon Age so much.

Ahem, so I'm just waiting now. Jade will probably be lurking outside to see who comes out, if anyone fancies bumping into her. Other than that, are you going to handle timeskips and so on? Things tend to get out of hand if that's left to the players in most cases (someone jumps ahead and it cuts off someone else, or someone wants to progress faster than someone else), though we seem to have a fairly solid roleplaying group here so I'm not particularly concerned.

Personally, I'd like it if someone specific determined time and timeskips - a roleplay like this seems like it would benefit from using the passage if time as a dramatic element: and waiting / being rushed into decisions would be a natural element of espionage like this. ;)

Never quite forgotten.
