She sheathed her sword back in its own helt and fluttered down to watch the two stallions duel. Her front legs were obviously buckling from the practice as well as her wings, like they never been used this hard in awhile.

 

"I.." she took a deep breath before they were about to begin, and trying to keep the peace since she could tell Wonder wasn't too thrilled about Thunder being here, "I was taught one defensive spell by a unicorn friend of mine... It's not much but, it's a magic neutralizer spell. It works basically by defuses one pony elses magic. But it only works for a few minutes... He taught me it in case i were alone and would need a defense against other magic users... It's an escape tactic. Dunno if that would count as a defense..."

 

Then she remembered what happened back in Canterlot, when that rogue dark stallion attacked her...and her magic by instinct reacted like a bubble sheild around her. "There's one other thing... I don't know how it happened, but my magic sometimes has a mind of its own. It senses when I'm in trouble or under great stress...and sometimes without warning it will...just react in quick powerful spurts. The last time it did that, it encircled me in a tempoarary magic bubble. The attacker couldn't break it for several minutes before it shattered."

"I don't mind. In fact..." He unbuckles a strap, and what little armor he had on fell off. He then dropped his sword and it clanged to the ground producing a strangely beautiful sound. He cracks his neck, and smugly smirks. The orange radiates and slowly turns to a dark grey, it continually radiates heat, but it's as though ashes of the older world came from the ground simply to kiss his hooves. "You make the first move."

Tempest looked around, and was able to get a feel for his surroubdings. "Was that a nightmare?" He thought, as he stood up. The bat pony then trotted foreward, ignoring the strange looks a few other ponies gave him. He then flew into the air, not caring where he went. If those visons were true, he had to isolate himself to survive.

 

Sombra smirked as his forces marched across the icy tundra. His army was growing stronger by the second, and he doubted if Celestia was prepared for the coming storm.

Thunder opened his wings. Kept them upright, they buzzed for a second indicating he was ready. He turned back to lightning "it appears you will get a front row seat to a half decent fight, given the circumstances" he said before turning to look at wonder, his wings pulsed and he went flying at wonder before disappearing into a gray smoke. Then the smoke faded away, and it was silent...

Wonder looked around and then shut his eyes he decided to pull a bit of an oldie trick. He looked at Lightning. "Sorry kid, you probably won't be seeing much anymore." He ash that enveloped him flushed about in a giant mushroom cloud spreading about and almost covering a full city block. He silently flew directly upward, leaving the smoke and up into the sky higher than the ash could touch.

She coughed violently from the ash and galloped out trying to find some clean air...when she was finding no success she teleported out of the castle and into the sky. Surprisingly enough she spotted Wonder flying above the Empire, searching for his odd opponant.

 

"This is sword fighting?" She blinked as she watched Wonder's reactions to the scene. Though in the back of her mind...she knew now more then ever, sword fighting wasn't going to be enough for this fight for Equestria.

Thunder reformed at his original placement, just before his teleportation. He didn't move, he just looked up. "Pointless, simply pointless. You shouldn't waist energy for a simple spar. If your that desperate to show off, why not just hit me. Ill give you a free bee" he said standing still trying to keep himself from inhaling to much ash.

"If you insist you asshole..." He muttered. He sensed Thunders location and clapped his front hooves together. His wings launched him toward his opponent faster than he had ever needed to move before. He took extreme caution at where he aimed his attack. His hoof flew behind him and was surrounded by his aura he flung it forward mere inches from Thunder and aimed at his chest, he didn't expect this attack to hit so he prepared to dodge any other moves.

Golden shrugged. "Like I said. If you want to go anywhere in the castle before we leave for the Crystal Empire then I can take you there. Hmm?" Golden looked up from her conversation to see another mare there. "Hello. I'm fine and I am just sitting here and talking with a friend. Who are you and what are you doing here?" Golden repeated the question to her.

Cherry didn't know how to answer Minx, she had no idea what to do anymore, she was just WAAAAAY to excited for the battle. Maybe she should meet some more ponies.

Her idea was granted when cherry noted the other pony Minx had addressed, she waved, "Hiya, I'm Cherry. What's your name?" she asked holding out her hoof for the other mare to shake. @,@@LunaFlower226,

"My name is Luna Flower and I'm here to get some food, I wanted to talk to King Sombra earlier but I can't find him anywhere at all" Luna said looking at the two ponies with her yellow eyes, not knowing what to say to them next, so she just stood there waiting for a reply.

Thunder closed his eyes and let himself be punched in the chest. Causing him to make a "OOF" sound as the wind was knocked out of him, he was sent crashing into the wall behind him, causing some serious structural damage to the wall. Thunder bounced off and hit the ground face first. He groaned silently, gritting his teeth. He got onto his hooves, and looked behind him to see the huge chunk of wall missing. "Wow...." He coughed from all the smoke and debri in the air. "That was one hell of punch" he rubbed his chest. "Though why put that much energy into one punch? I hate to be an 'asshole' but you put to much energy into one attack, waisting it away. And keep your calm, your just becoming a hot head throwing around energy. Anger can cause a flaw... Like, you punched me, you also did this cheep ash trick. Quite original ill add, but you left yourself open, in the punch, you used aura to give you the ability to dodged it counter a attack if I tried. But that was risky to let your aura come out so early in battle." He began "your reckless, to reckless, you get killed doing that...and you won't save lives fighting reckless, but you'll endanger lives." He spoke fixing his hair. Then looking back at his opponent. He opened his wings once more and charged, charging a hoof back ready to punch, but instead. He slid under wonder's legs and kneed him in the stomach. Flipping wonder onto his back. Thunder then stood up to face him. "Now your move"

Sole was in the middle of some kind of forest, darkness surrounded him with little light shining in from above. He seemed to be training, doing push-ups with one claw of his left talon one after the other. "Won't lose... Not again..." He mumbled, sweat and blood dripping off of him. "Must get stronger... I will defeat him. I'll defeat them all." He said quietly, as his hastily bandaged and wrapped wounds continued to bleed. He thought on what thunder had said, about the master he'd loved so much and the wife he'd turned his back on. Was he right? Was he just a worthless mindless pawn under Sombra's control? "No!" He growled under his breath, before hopping up and standing. As he finished his push-ups he made several clones of various warriors he knew. Thunder, Tempest, Crimson, Toby and more. They weren't nearly as strong as the real ones, but they'd serve as great sparring partners. "I'll kill you all!" He roared, as they all charged to attack him at once...

The scene looked violent from down below as she hovered above the two stallions. She covered her eyes seeing Thunder's body been thrown like a rag doll against the wall, then fall flat groaning. But when he stood up and said his counter to Wonder...she realized these two stallions must be made of steal. Still she couldn't help but grip her stomach at the sight of Wonder getting kneed firmly by Thunder. She was taking notes of both of their methods, Thunder being more passive aggressive and calculating when to use his energies, where as Wonder was straight to the point but ready to counter any second.

 

Feeling inspired, she drew her blade out and decided to practice against hidden foes, swinging her blade as she watched the two hoof fought. She fluttered around, practicing to keep her blade out and extended back in means to swipe hard and fast, then to counter back with blocks. She felt confident when it came to sword air fighting, but she knew by watching them, she needed to practice fighting with magic too.

She threw in teleportation as she swung back and forth not realizing she was hovering further away from the city and more so over a growth of dark forest. "Now I'm here," she flinged her sword, then teleported to a cloud once more, "now I'm here... Ok good Blissy, if I can learn to time all this...keep a firm grip on my blade..."

(Not sure if now would be a good time. He's really pissed and would probably kill her if he spots her. Good thing he's distracted lol)

 

Sole fought wildly, kicking and punching with speed and power beyond the capabilities most ponies would think possible as his opponents attacked. He quickly delivered a knee to the Toby clone's face, before whipping around and punching Tempest's clone in the ribs and sending him flying through several trees. Almost immediately after, thunder and Crimson's clones attacked him from opposite directions, but just before their attacks could connect he sidestepped, causing them to crash into each other. Before they could recover, he grabbed the Crimson clone by the mane and threw him high into the air, before obliterating it with a large blast of magic. "Die!" He growled angrily. He hadn't noticed anyone being nearby because of the fighting

@, (No worries then, just kinda hanging in the air, she's not completely defensless, has one or two abilities that can help her escape, but certaintly NOT hurt you lol)

 

She continued to teleport and swing repeatly, feeling like she was getting a slight headach from all the magic use, when she spotted a pony being thrown into the air and exploding in a blast of dark magic... "What in the name of Celestia?" She hovered down towards the magic mist that was once a pony body and looke down. She could make out a figure below, along with maybe another being but couldn't tell who. Her instincts were screaming 'fly away...fly away now...' but her duty to see if everypony was ok was jolting her curiosity...

 

"H-hello?" She called down... "are you ok? Do you need help?"

Sole had just got done snapping the Thunder clone's neck when he heard a feminine voice call down from above, glancing up he glared at what seemed to be a mare, perched on a cloud. Without hesitation he lifted his talon and prepared to fire a beam of chaos magic at her, but just as he fired he was tackled by the Tobi clone and forced to the ground, causing the attack to miss her by mere inches. "Tch, stupid duplicate!" He growled in annoyance, before kicking it off of him

"That's cool!" Cherry grinned, "I'm Cherry, Cherry Blossom. And this is Golden Flames. We just got back from the fighting arena. We are a pretty even match." Cherry grinned the words. "Do you have any armor yet? I just got mine, that and my sword. We're not really doing anything if you want us to suit you out. I don't think things are too organized, so if you don't get some now you may not get any." She shrugged waited for a response. @@LunaFlower226,

The ball of energy went whipping by her side, just slightly singing her mane... Her eyes went wide then realizing...it was the same magic from the attacker whom tried to assisinate Cadence. "YOU??!!!" She whinnied loudly and leapt off the cloud, dived at an angle to gain speed, then burst forth wings, and fluttered vigorously back to the city. "I have to warn Thunder, Wonder! I have to get to them!" She cried out in her panic.

Wonder bounced up with his wings and restabilized on the ground. He spit onto the ground. "Heh, you actually thought that I was wasting power on either of those. In case you didn't know, I only just discovered that I could bend aura to my will. I'm just trying things off of the top of my head. That smoke, a cheap parlor trick. That punch was just a punch with the momentum of gravity behind it, plus a little heat from my aura. I always keep power in reserve, I can burn energy, but once I'm out, I just use my power to fill it. I'm not angry, I just don't like your attitude. Oh, you haven't seen anything yet."

 

The ash comes back the same way it did before and surrounded him in a ball. Out of the ball came 5 ash warriors, the same body type as Wonder, and when the ball dissipated, there were 6 ash warriors total. The looked like ash sculptures, no mouth, no mane, and glowing orange eyes. They all spoke at the same time, in the same voice. "How much strength are you going to use trying to find me?" They then jumped at Thunder in a flurry of martial arts kicks and punches.

"Are you fond if fighting, Luna?" Golden asked her seriously. She looked the mare up and down, sizing her up for armor in case she is fond of fighting. "Whatever the answer is, you'll need armor anyway to protect yourself." Golden told Luna. She got up and started pacing around the table again.

"Well I don't have armor, but I do carry a sword around with me" Luna said showing her sword that was hidden from every pony before she showed it. "The sword is important to me, and I kind of know how to use it, but I'm better at archery by a little bit" Luna said sounding like she's just rambling now.

"Ooohh, that's a pretty sword!" Cherry gushed, looking at the metal. "How well do you fight with it? Where were you trained? Do you wanna do a battle with me or Golden Flames?" She bombarded the girl with questions, ginning as she did. Kinda starting to feel a bit nervous about the invasion, but excited nonetheless. She batted her eyes up at her possible new friend.

Thunder looked around. "I have no attitude, you just don't like what I say" he countered. Looking at every angle, surrounded....well he could go up, but he decided that would be to easy. So he turned to buck the one behind him, then turned around to punch the on in front. He countered a punch and directed it to another clone. He kept up with the fighting, countering and blocking each attack, eyes shifting left to right. Keeping an eye on each on as he battled.

"Well I never got trained so my sword skills are kind of low, but like I said my archery is better" Luna said backing up one step. "I could use some training though if you wouldn't mind" Luna said looking at the ponies therein front of her wondering what they are going to say next.
