How come bronys are like this

Well I do build up a tolerance to them over time, but that just means I need to get them periodically adjusted.

And I can't claim to know your mother's situation, but if she was trying to depend on meds alone, it was kind of a given that they weren't helping. Meds just make things more manageable, they don't solve the problems on their own.

That's what I mean when I talk about these type of drugs. It's that depending on them thing.

Exactly, but that's the point I was making. Not in reference to you, but just in general. I just know too many people that think drugs are supposed to magically be the only thing you need, and that's just false.

Everyone is depressed, regardless if they're ponies or not.

Everyone is depressed, even when they feel that they're not.

We all have negative feelings and despair roaming around somewhere in our hearts and minds.

It's just how the world works...

What evens it out is happiness.

People see this show as a way to break free from the reality around them, just like a lot of bronies are also gamers or anime fans. Not all, but a lot.

People in every fandom have depression.

Mental illness doesn't bow and step aside because of something like cartoon ponies.

I have depression and anxiety. Life is life. Things happen. Guilt and regret play a big part in my life, candy coloured ponies won't change that. Nothing will.

Post hoc ergo propter hoc. Depression doesn't necessarily have anything to do with bronies, it's just that depression and anxiety are so common.

Sig made by Kyoshi.

Cool things people have said about me:

Never heard of him but I guess just you mentioning him is a good reason not to go anywhere near that name.

(In reference to an author I suggested.)

Hey , I moved your topic from General Discussion to Sugarcube Corner. The latter is the section for discussing MLP-related things that do not directly involve the show itself, which would include the brony fandom. General Discussion is better suited to discussion topics that do not involve anything MLP-related and that do not fit in other sections.

I honestly haven't met that many Bronies that are depressed and such, but I can relate.

It's an understandable situation, when one is depressed, most seek something that can cause joy.

Which in a Brony's case, would have to be ponies! I've heard, and have also experienced, that Pinkie Pie's Smile song always puts a smile on a Brony's face! ^^

I wasn't depressed when I started watching my Little Pony. I know the world is dark, but I always believe to keep pushing further no matter how dark it may seem. I rarely get sad or depressed.
