Scoots and Dash 208 May 1, 2014 Share May 1, 2014 (edited) Is nutella really unhealthy? Nutrition Nutella contains 70% saturated fat and processed sugar by weight. A two-tablespoon (37 gram) serving of Nutella contains 200 calories including 99 calories from 11 grams of fat (3.5g of which are saturated) and 80 calories from 21 grams of sugar. In addition, the spread contains 15mg of sodium and 2g of protein per serving. A class action lawsuit was settled based on claims made about nutrition. Class action lawsuit In the United States, Ferrero was sued in a class action lawsuit for false advertising that led some to believe that Nutella carries nutritional and health benefits, being touted as 'part of a nutritious breakfast'. They agreed to pay $3 million (up to $4 per jar for up to five jars in returns by customers) in an April 2012 settlement. The settlement also required Ferrero to make changes to Nutella's labeling and marketing, including television commercials and their website. I'm one of those people super addicted to Nutella. I prefer to scoop it with crackers though. Adds a very appealing taste instead of just scooping it on a spoon. Edited May 1, 2014 by Scoots and Dash 1 Thanks to )O( Scarlet )O( for the signature! ms-coco-pommel 64 May 1, 2014 Share May 1, 2014 I eat typically hot foods, cold. I don't even own a microwave. Not even the typical "cold pizza for breakfast" stuff, either. I mean, like, pasta, soup, you name it, I enjoy it straight out of the fridge. I also eat like 1000000000000000x my body weight every day and am still skinnier than Spike. Ziggy + Angel + Rain 11,302 May 1, 2014 Share May 1, 2014 I often eat standing up (think I saw a poster with a similar habit) and am uncomfortable with touching certain foods. I have accomplished impressive feats with inappropriate utensils: sawing apart a piece of toast with a spoon, eating a chicken thigh after having plunged a spoon into it, etc. I DO wash utensils, but I will go completely out of my way to avoid doing it immediately prior to a meal (difficult to get the dish washing liquid smell and substance off of my hands). I will add tuna to just about anything. Or green olives. Or mix tuna and green olives in with rice. Also like peanut butter and banana sandwiches, peanut butter and green olive sandwiches (yes really), and black licorice (which is unrelated to the sandwich category lol). I have an inexplicable desire to eat as many different animals as possible xD. I've consumed alligator (I enjoyed it), and I discovered I adore anchovies (they're good in rice, on bread, or on a cheese-less pizza). I WILL NOT eat octopus as they are immeasurably awesome, and I wouldn't consume horse because reasons. "It uses the faculty of what you call imagination. But that does not mean making things up. Glitterheart 64 May 1, 2014 Share May 1, 2014 Also, I feel uncomfortable eating with silverware and plates washed by a dishwasher. Coming from a family where we've always done the dishes by hand, I feel as if a dishwasher doesn't clean it as well as we do. Funnily enough, I've ended up somewhat the opposite. I just trust a machine to do a better job of rinsing off the soap and stuff. (As long as it's not one of those crappy counter-top dishwashers that just leaks all over everything...) For a while now, I've often been eating just once a day. My appetite is crap, and it's kinda hard to just *force* yourself to eat all the time when you're not hungry, y'know? So I try to make up for it by eating a lot when I do eat. Hi.
JosephLJS 6 May 1, 2014 Share May 1, 2014 Pinkie_pie_is_sugar_high_Done_red_puffy_veiny_eyes.jpg And what a wonderful feeling it is. food is our life listen to pinkie pie and apple jack I have to eat standing up, or I'll be uncomfortable. I manage at restaurants, but at home, I get squirrely. I also smell my food before my first bite. That's more of a way to acquire all of the flavors, check if it's not expired, check for poison...etc. etc. I have a friend who viciously insists his food be not touching each other "You like burgers, right?" "Yeah". "You like bacon?" "I love bacon". "Why don't you like them together!!" "I DON'T SEE THE CONNECTION YOU JUST MADE" It's all sugar, friend. There's a reason for that buzzing feeling in your teeth when you eat it. ;o you can buy a dog or rat to check if it's not expired or not -_- always eat pickles i never stoped eatting pickles i only stop when i sleep pickles are my life

Retired 83 May 2, 2014 Share May 2, 2014 I am a righty, but I grab the knife with my left hand instead of my right hand. I have no idea if that's bad or good. o.o I do not like loose corn, but I like corn on the cob. I don't like cooked broccoli that much, but I like raw broccoli. I remove the brown edges on toast. I only enjoy vanilla or strawberry banana yogurt. I do not like strawberries alone, only with chocolate. I do not like it when bananas get warm. Must be cold or room temperature. I like to eat jell-o with a certain type of whipped cream. If I think of more, I'll edit them in. o.o' 1 Retired account. multifacetedbrony 88 May 15, 2014 Share May 15, 2014 I absolutely love rice with brown gravy. I freak out if juice or heat from food makes other food on the plate go soft, I don't know why, I just hate the texture (and can often be found mopping my plate with kitchen roll to make sure all is well lol!) If I'm serving any kind of small fruit like berries or strawberries, I have to count them to make sure everyone gets the same amount. I don't like eating two kinds of food at once, so if I have, say, sausage and mash, I'll eat a forkful of mash, then one of sausage. I love putting crisps (potato chips) in a sandwich. No other filling, just the crisps! I think that's it.

Starshine 16,334 May 16, 2014 Share May 16, 2014 I eat with lots and lots of rice No, seriously, for every ounce of food, there are at least ten or fifteen ounces of rice all over it. I see rice as the "multiplier" of taste and flavor, so I eat one tiny weeny pieces of the food along with a spoonful of rice, and the rice will absorb the flavor that way At least my eating habit was used to be that way, now I'm too busy to cook my own rice :s
