The Night Express silently rolled up into Ponyville Station. I stallion with golden fur and a mane as white as the snow stepped off. He was wearing his custom made armor that clanked together as he trotted away.

 

"I'm finally back." he said as a calming breeze blew over his face, "After four years, I'm home."

 

A small smile appeared on his face as he continued to trot down the empty streets towards his home.

"Maybe, right now I am super tired, I think I'll go ahead and eat a bit, but considering I got woken up at Midnight by....welll Midnight I may be a bit groggy." Solar says before letting off a loud yawn.

 

He went and slurpped the milkshake down with a big gulp and smiled at Scarlet.

Scarlet nods and makes them their food, about half an hour later, the food was ready "come and get it" she says as she places their plates on the table, I can't believe it, I'm finally with Solar, but I still feel bad for the Captain, I should make it up to him she thinks as a small frown crosses her face

Solar hugs Scarlet tight when he witnesses the dreaded frown cross her face.

 

"What is it dear, is something bothering you?" He asks her, slightly concerned. 

 

 

He hoped he hadnt botched something like he seemed to always do, so he awaited her responce hopefully

"I-it's just, before I remembered my love for you, I..I was falling for the Captain of the guard, but then I remembered you and..well I kind of really hurt him, I need to do something to make it up to him" Scarlet explains, picking Eclipse up and gently playing with her little ears.

"Oh... y-you were bullied t-too?" he stuttered as he cried. "I... I was too... I'm sorry... I... I need to be alone for a for a while. It was nice meeting you though."

 

He got up, and slowly got inside. He placed his sword down and went to his room. He got a crystal orb and a piece of parchment. He then wrote a note to himself.

 

This memory contains the time you realized you'll never find a mare. You'll never find love. You're going to die alone, just accept that.

 

He then concentrated his magic on him. He took away his memory of this night, and contained the memory. He already placed a picture of a black heart shattered in a million pieces. Out of his use of magic, he fell unconscious. A final tear dropped to the floor.

"Well..." Melody started. She then lit her horn and made the wind sing a calming tune that attracted some birds who flew over and perched in her mane. They started to sing along with the tune. Melody was quivering lightly, hoping that Guardian wouldn't bully her.

Solar strokes Scarlet's mane and smiles to her.  He plays with her ears a little and scratches behind them.

 

"Yup, well how d you plan to do that sweety ? I mean, sure, I would love  to cheer him up, but how can we, do we even know were he is at this point ?" He asks his beloved

"I..I don't know, maybe it's not such a good idea" She sighs,"I..." she goes outside and starts walking towards the forest, her happiness gone, all that was there was sadness and sorrow, she uses her magic to scrawl a note for Solar, reading "gone to the forest, please, for the love of Luna, do not follow me" then walks in there.

((So MLPForums didn't send me notifications for this thread for some odd reason, so I didn't see any of these replies until just now .-.

If you guys could fill me in on what's going on, I can hop in and see what we can do, if anything CAN be done cx

"Uh..." Melody was about to say something to him when he flew off. Melody decided to follow him, hoping that sneaking up to him wouldn't be so rude. She was concerned about him and both of them were going through the same thing. Melody walked slowly towards Guardian's place.
