Ravek wasn't one for tea, or coffee, or whatever could have possibly been in the teapot on the coffee table. But she did sit on one of the couches, though not on the one Sekel was sitting on, she sat on one of the ones that faced him so that she could continue conversation.
Though, she knew that this school was for the gifted, she didn't really know what gift it was for.
"Is being clever a gift? That's what people usually mean when they say gift."

Not bothering to say much of anything, Nicholas followed the others in, sticking to the back of the group and generally trying not to be noticed. More than anything, he was dreading when he would eventually have to talk about his powers, maybe even demonstrate them. He didn't even like thinking about his powers.

Petria follows the others into the building. It reminded him of many mansions in Italy, though it was very different on the inside. He sat down on the seats near the coffee table. He debates whether or not to try and turn his tea into wine or juice, but decided just to keep it as is. Already he had nearly showed his 'gift'. He drank the yea and waited for the maids to show them around, or better yet, explain why they were all here.

Sekel was going to open his mouth to clarify but then he saw the others walk in. "Sure you'll find out soon enough. Anyway, I'm glad to have met another Australian here." Sekel said. He leant back on the couch abd crossed his arms, still not bothering to take off his hood.

((Well I'm stupid. I didn't notice you edited your post, @@RunsWithSquirlz,))

"Here" Jack dug in his pocket for the paper and handed it to her. He walked past the maid and into the room along with the others.

"Anybody here speak english?" After looking over everyone present he wondered why he bothered asking.

"Never mind. So, what all of you here for? I sure don't know why I'm here" He went went and leaned on a wall nearby.

@,@,
Put her hand up to answer somebody's question, she didn't know who for a second before she actually scanned the room.
"I do, and does Sekel here."
Ravek then pointed to her new friend, and then used the same hand to push her glasses back up. Then a funny though ended up in her head, the only two Australians here and both of them covered the top part of their face, Sekel with his hoodie and Ravek herself with her glasses and hat.

Sekel put his hand up. "What is this English you speak of? I speak English. Nevermind my poor taste in jokes." Sekel said jokingly. He lited his hood a bit to see the person that asked the question leaning on the wall. "What's your name? Mine's Sekel like Ravek said." Sekel asked him. He saw Ravek point to him. He just smiled and repositioned his hood.

@,@,@,

Somewhat reluctantly, Nicholas raised a hand and spoke up. "Um... I speak English. I'm from New York originally, so my accent is a lot different from yours, though. That, and I... don't really talk much to begin with." Suddenly he felt like an idiot and wished he hadn't said anything, although he wasn't exactly sure why.

Ravek looked over to the person that had just started talking, suddenly a proper conversation had started up between all these people, and Ravek was just happy that it was over a common interest and not just about the bloody weather.
"Well then mate" She looked over to the guy who asked the question first off, "It looks like there's three other people that speak english, so we don't all have to try and talk like Germans."

Sekel turned his eyes to look at the boy who raised his hand, although you wouldn't know it because of his hood. He raised his hand and pointed to him and then to Ravek. "You're from New York. Ravek and I are from Australia, the boy who spoke first is from ... somewhere." Sekel finished lamely. He felt something in his hand start to glow so he quickly placed it inside his pocket.

(Sorry I'm late to the party folks!)

Emi.

@@RunsWithSquirlz,

Eyes wide as she stared around with an intence curiously, Emi approached the mansion. She giggled a little to herself as her charcoal hair brushed her neck - wavy and somewhat unkempt but not terribly so - and tickled slightly. A large, pink satchel hung over her shoulder and down by her side, and a book was clutched tightly against her white linen blouse. Denim jeans and odd trainers (one blue, the other pink) completed the otherwise unremarkable outfit.

It wasn't unusual for her to go off exploring in a whim - Emi often found herself wandering off to follow some flight of fancy, or to look for some that that wasn't really there... making her way to Germany hadn't been difficult.

Smiling vacantly as she watched a bird fly over head, she quickly gave up trying to figure out what kind it was as it vanished over the trees. Turning instead towards the mansion, she suddenly became away of the maid standing only a few meters away.

"Hello there." Stated the girl in a soft, conversational tone as she watched the maid through mismatched eyes. "I like your hair, It's very pretty."

Never quite forgotten.

"Jackson Boyd. Call me Jack. Pleased to meet all of you. Y'all know what we're here for?" Jack noticed his accent coming out and restrained it. "I just got a mysterious letter with place, time, and date along with some airplane tickets. I'm from the US by the way"

@,@, @@Alex Kennedy,
"No no Sekel, that one is from New york, this one is from just America, and we're from Australia."
Ravek was having fun, but also correcting Sekel at the same time. The first american kid was from New York, not the one they were talking too currently.
@,
"And Apparently we're here for a school for the gifted." Ravek said to Jack

"What? But ... oh. Hmmm." Sekel rubbed the side of his head through the hood, moving it up and down with just getting the barest glimpse of bright yellow eyes. He blinked and looked at them all. "Did you say a letter with just a time, place and date, as well as a couple of tickets?" Sekel asked. He dug through his backpack and took the letter out. "I got one too. Did everyone else get one?" Sekel asked them.

"A school for the gifted? I've already gone through school" He raised an eyebrow. "For the gifted? If do then I'm in the wrong place. I'm just your average joe taking each day as it is. I'm no Einstein if that's what you implying. Are the rest of you the next Steven Hawkings or something?" Jack took a euro coin out of his pocket and played with it in his fingers.

@,

"Yep. That's all it had on it" He pulled out the letter from his pant packet.

"I did."
And the Ravek when rummaging around in her brown satchel till she produced the right paper work.
@,
"And it could be possibly that, or a mental asylum, if any of you guys are nuts too."
Again Ravek had to push in her glasses, they were quite big and round but they covered her eyesight perfectly so she could see well enough, though she knew no one else could see her eyes.

Jack let out a friendly laugh at Ravek's comment. "I'm certainly not insane, at least last I checked. Sure I like 60's music but does that make me crazy" He smiled at his own joke for a moment for continuing. "So, you got one too. This is starting like the start of a horror flick where we all get brought here to get dissected or something" He shook his hands like he was screaming as he made the remark.

"Maybe that's why the maid carried a gun." Sekel remarked. He looked at Jack through his hood and thought about something. "This wouldn't actually surprise me if the lights suddenly turned off and screaming would happen." Sekel said offhandedly. He kept clenching his hand inside his pocket to try and keep his plasma bolts under control.

Well, Ravek's sincere question turned out to be a joke, but at least Jack was having fun.
"I think you guys will be the ones being dissected, I'm a more interesting study alive than dead. Or on a genealogical level if anything."
Ravek thought that she could have a little fun on her own, it was a funny joke to her at least.

"The maid had a gun? I didn't notice. Wonder why..." He brought up his guard a bit. He didn't like this. "If don't mind me asking: what's with the dark glasses? Not exactly the most fashionable things on the planet" Jack continued to fiddle the coin in between unconsciously.

@,
"Glasses are there so I can see, if you want, think of me blind and these help with the whole seeing thing. And yeah, the lady had a shotgun at her hip."
Ravek felt like it was a kind of half asked attack, but then she was always a little sensitive when it came to her eyesight, since it had brought so much pain to her anyways. Though She didn't feel like she was in any danger, if anything she felt closer to an episode rather than being  attacked.

"Sorry, your glasses just look more of a fashion statement than to actually help see. And a shotgun? I wasn't really paying to much attention, I guess" Jack felt like a jerk after that. Good way to kill the mood, Jacky boy! He thought to himself. Jack put the coin back in his pocket  stood in silence looking up at the ceiling.

@,
"If I'm going to blind, might as well look somewhat good to everyone else."
Ravek wasn't actually blind, if anything it was probably the opposite, since everything was 5-10 times brighter than it was, so she was practically staring at the sun and light bulbs all the time without her glasses. With them though everything looked as though it should have been for everyone else, though her glasses were quite banged up, and she needed a new pair soon before her glasses had no means of staying on her face.

Sekel heard what Ravek said and thought it a bit weird. "You going blind looks somewhat good to everyone else? What do you mean by that?" Sekel asked confusedly. His face held no emotion but he thought he didn't need it because of his hood. "Why do you think going blind is good?"

@

"It wasn't a shotgun, it was a pistol. But that's fine, just wondering why a maid would have to wear a gun." Sekel told Jack.

@,
"It looks good, as in stylish, like I was making a smart remake to his half assed attack on my glasses. Being practically blind isn't good, I hate having to wear glasses everywhere I go."
Ravek thought that was going to have to deal with idiots again, like surely someone would have picked up on the fact that she was being half sarcastic to Jack. Like surely these adults would be able to pick up on it, unless she said something totally different to what she remembered saying, because that would have gotten Sekel confused, and now it got her confused.
Was she even speaking right? Ravek couldn't tell and now she was just doubting everything she was doing, and her regret from earlier about not bringing her medication rose up again, she should have remembered her meds.
