Since no one has posted the return of my favorite Multiplayer FPS Franchise, I'll be the one to do so.

 

Unreal Tournament 2014 has been announced for the PC, Mac and Linux.  And best of all, It will be FREE.

 

Not Free to Play.  FREE.  100% Free.

 

The only profit they'll be making will be from the Unreal Engine 4 Subscription Fees and from a cut of the profits from modders and artists who sell their mods on the marketplace.

Personally, that made my day.  I enjoyed the first 2 Unreal Tournaments(Never played the 3rd one).  If you want to see what Unreal Tournament is all about, the first 3 games are available on Steam while the first 2 games are on GoG.com

I'm hyped for this like you wouldn't believe, I love Unreal Tournament. I still play the original, 2004, and 3 to this very day.

 

Now that I'm done fanboying, I do find it odd that they will let people sell mods, I guess it's something that I'm not used to seeing.

Truly great to see UT making a return. Been MIA all these years after the comparatively disappointing UT3.

TF2 has kinda taken its place so i hope that people get excited and revisit it.
