planning World War II (Equestria Edition)

I honestly didn't think further than "WAR AND MURDER RAWRAWRAWR!" when I made this, so that's what I would think. I would say that since this doesn't take place in World War II and just has a similar setting, it can work out fine c:

But it says WWII on the title...

 

And despite my OC being the typical German psychologist, I'm actually Chinese. Unfortunately, it's hard to create an Asian pony...

 

Should flesh out more of the background for this RP. I really like the basic idea that little snippet of backstory you wrote gave, I think Equestria is much more suited for 20th century tech in stories like these.

 

If anything it'd be a good idea to decide what exactly the fighting is about. Much more fun to shoot things if you have a cause.

Maybe it can be resources? It's the basic thing that has caused wars for centuries.

 

Or political dispute.

Assuming it's Luna vs. Celestia (which seems to be what the little bit of backstory we have implies) there are plenty of possibilities. Resources might be one of more interesting ones, but I'm not sure how that'd work.

Well, since the stones can give a squad that uses it incredible power. (If the squad fits the stones' preference of course) Maybe they are fighting over the rare stones found in the middle of a country? When the Lunar Army couldn't get ownership, they decided to take it by force. Slowly Nightmaremoon grew mad with power and went to try and take the world as well? Idk xD

That would definitely be different. I think that could work wonderfully with a little more fleshing out. Namely what the stones actually are/do. I'm completely blank and getting ready to stuff my face with food, however, so now is not the time for thought.

 

I will post if I get any ideas.

It would also be a good idea to set the stage a little more detailed than 'there was an ambush, people are dead, in enemy territory'. Where in Equestria this is happening might help. Maybe around Baltimare or somewhere in the east? I've always kind of seen that as 'Lunar' territory, so to speak.

I agree as well. Though the city must be open enough to (eventually) allow tanks to properly maneuver. It would be pretty useless to be a tank commander and not even being able to drive one because the streets are too tight xD
