Are there pony felonies in Equestria?

I know that there will not be any violence(in terms of real crime as in human society). But you think Equestria has no crime rate? I'm talking about some mares and colts locked away in Canterlot for committing a crime. Remember when Fluttershy thought she was going to be imprisoned for "killing" Philomena.

I'm thinking that laws exist for the major felonies like murder but are rarely used. There's probably a decent amount of petty crime like thievery and the like, with figures like Trixie and the Flim Flam brothers existing, and I figure the punishment is more based around public shaming and the like, what with how society and harmony based ponies are. Jail/dungeon probably isn't used that much.

There probably is, just don't see it much. The closest thing I remember to there being a real crime, was Rainbow Dash breaking into the hospital, to steal that Daring Do book.

Sombra - Enslavement

Chrysalis - Terrorism, Imprisonment, Conspiracy, Disguising as a foreign diplomat, Assault

Trixie - Imprisonment, Attempted Torture, Enslavement, Usurping a high ranking government official.

Tirek has done a lot but I'm not gonna spoil anything.

There are felonies. We've seen them done.

To be honest, since those are big villains (except Trixie), those would probably fit with war crimes. You'd also have to know what the laws of Equestria are.

Sombra also fits more with war crimes, since they straight up nearly obliterated him.

Yes but it seems like there is far more petty crimes than serious ones being committed in Equestria of course that is not to say they can't happen. I suspect that crime rates may be a bit higher in places like Manehattan and Canterlot than in Ponyville of course that is not to say they have quite as much crime as similar cities on earth but by their standards that could be the case. What little we have seen of their justice system is that it is far more merciful than justice systems on earth.

Given that Equestria has a very low rate of violence between its own citizens, they're doing something that's decreasing the rate of violence. According to the World Health Organization and the inter-disciplinary science of Public Health, violence is approached as a preventable disease. To me it would seem that the Equestrians, including the higher-ups, understand this and act on that knowledge to keep violence to its bare minimum.

But of course this is a kid's show and of course subjects as dark as social inequality, poverty and the like will never be explored.

What pony felonies?

If they are any forms of petty, blue collar, white collar (etc) crime then the show has yet to even display it.  And that's not surprising given the nature of the show.

Okay, if I really have to question it in theory - then there practically exists no crime Equestria - (very little of it anyways).  Where is that thread questioning where the police are in Equestria?  They appear once in Cheese's song but that is really more for gag effect rather than a real in-show example.  It was made unclear if there are police officers in Equestria, it's made unclear if there exists much of a judicial system in Equestria either - it might be very basic too - possibly even arbitrarily based on the decisions of the monarchy if that.

As Zhortac said - bar Trixie - those are kind of global crimes - and looking at it - Equestria put up no real defense to defend themselves.  Nor did they bother going through a juridical system to administer punishment.

At the end of it, Tirek was the only one who was really sentenced to a prison, but who else is locked up in there with him? How often does Equestria even use tartarus as a holding prison ?

Chrysalis, where is she now? She still hasn't re-appeared (She just got blown out of Canterlot, that's all, never said if she was dead or not).  (and it will depend of if you consider the comics as part of your head cannon).

Sombre,  hmm, does he count as being the only villain as being 'destroyed' as a form of straight direct capital punishment ? (until he makes an appearance again)

Trixie - sure she actually took over and partially enslaved ponyville for a short period of time -  and she got off scot-free.  That's not a crime in Equestria?

From this question then, we have several questions - if the above does not require some judicial system - then what kind of law system does Equestria have? (and so on and so forth). (This show never established it's law system and that's not surprising in the least as it was never an aspect it was going to get into).
