What's your favourite DragonBall/Z Arc? (Let's not count GT seeing as it isn't canon.)

Probably the cell arc. Cell's my favorite villain, and I think it had the best conclusion. I like all of them though. They all had some really good things going for them. 2nd place is a tie between the Piccolo, Saiyan, Frieza, and Buu arc. Can't choose one.

 

 I'm gonna say that I actually like GT, despite it being non-canon. The Baby arc was the best from it.

The Android saga, Cell was a great and rather creative villain, it had a much more interesting story to it than the any of the other arcs, Gohan and Trunks were amazing, Vegeta's heel-face turn by the end, the best sacrifice in the series, everyone was allowed to go Super Saiyan without it losing it's meaning(imo), everyone was useful.

My favorite was actually the Buu Saga. For some reason I just really like Buu, even though he's insanely overpowered. I loved the humor in this arc, and I thought Gotenks and Vegito were awesome. It also felt like the most was at stake. Mr Satan wasn't as annoying (he ruined the Cell Saga for me) and actually slightly redeemed himself. Overall it was the best to me

Dragon Ball: Toss up between the King Piccolo and Piccolo Jr sagas, King Piccolo was a monster and Piccolo Jr an even bigger one. Seeing Goku beat someone that even his masters master could only seal away was truly epic and seeing him win the World Martial Arts Tournament and beat Piccolo Jr was a great way to end Dragon Ball and go into Z.

 

Dragon Ball Z: Saiyan and Buu sagas, the fights were some of the best of the franchise and the characters and villains introduced were insane.

Namek saga. Putting aside my bias for it since it was the first arc I saw when I picked it up, the villain itself was the most influential one in the galaxy who had put the lives of billions of beings across the stars in peril. He was virtually the galactic emperor in the world of DBZ. And to me that's what made Freiza so interesting. To top it off, there was a very wide array of villains who were all really interesting with their little quirks, especially the Ginyu Force. But most important of all, seeing a Super Saiyan transformation for the first time is what makes it really special. Super Saiyan 2 and 3 weren't nearly as new and explosive for the audience as the first one was, not to mention how it happened.

Android/Cell. Cell is probably one of my favorite villains, with his additude, and 17 great too. He's such an odd combo of carefree, and killer. The ark was good all around.

Cell Saga. Gohan was portrayed really well in this series. I just love how the writers show the corruption of the enemies.

From the very beginning to the Frieza Saga was the best constructed.

Then Akira wanted to begin the series again, so he created the Cell Saga, the most awesome one because of Cell, the best villain so far.

Then the Buu Saga... This one is quite ridiculous. Good, but not as good as the others.
