Guys, before you comment. NO SPOILERS!!!!

Apparently Twitter is going off at the giant beast of yet another monster movie that somehow destroys another city. If you haven't watched it, do you think you'll go? If you have, what did you think of the movie?godzilla_a_king_rises_by_birmelini-d71jo

Again, I keep stating this, but no spoilers.

Haven't seen it yet. Want to so bad. I don't care if the story sucks, I usually watch Godzilla just to see the King of all monsters obliterate everything in his path. The only one I watched for story was the original.

I'll be happy if it has a good story though. That plus awesome monster action is the best combo.

First, If Twitter is giving bad reviews on the film, can go ahead and drown in a pool, b/c they're passing false judgements (they did that to Pacific Rim, and it turned out to be a box office hit, if i remember).  Now, with this film, its a definite, :D.  However, I recommend those who haven't seen it, watch it in either 3D or in IMAX.

Lol twitter is giving great reviews right now, but I definitely will go check it out in IMAX (3D does bad things to my eyes.

Alright, :D.  With 3D, I can't deny that, b/c it hurts my eyes too, but depends on the movie.    However, the IMAX is the best, especially for "action/Adventure" films......and of course, Sci-Fi films, :)

I have not seen it yet, but it is on my must-see-list. The movie looks better than the most recent hollywood one. I have seen all Godzilla movies (I think) and I am very excited for this one :3

I'll probably go see it if I continue to hear good things about it. Any way you look at it, it's doubtful that it could even come close to matching the awfulness of the '98 American film. Besides, it is currently at a 'certified fresh' rating of 72% on Rotten Tomatoes, so it's gotta be a decent flick at least.

  • 3 months later...

I recommend it, as it had great fighting sequences & didn't felt like it was taking too long to get to them, & that is really what people go to see in a Godzilla movie. However I would more readily recommend Godzilla: Final Wars, as it has the most action to date of any Godzilla movie, amazing action scenes, & the humans ACTUALLY CAN FIGHT A MONSTER! I know, crazy right!? So yeah, going to see it would definitely be worth it, but it isn't my favorite Godzilla movie. However it is by far better than my country's LAST attempt at a Godzilla... I mean Zilla movie... Did I mention Godzilla actually kills of Zilla in Final Wars? Yeaaaaaaah... That was nice...  :toldya:

Thank you Pinkamena-Pills for resizing the original, and putting that little message at the end
