Fey smiled behind her hair as she looked at Adalynn with one eye. "Thank you." Fey said softly. She closed the door, turned the lights off and turned Adalynn's reading light on. Going to a corner of the bed that was up against the wall, Fey pulled her legs up to her chest and dragged the reading light over so that she could read Adalynn's updated version of the Pokecyclopedia.

Melissa got the note out again and put her reading glasses on. The frame of the glasses was black with a neon blue strip. She put them on and read the note. Seeing that she was meant to get her classroom ready, she put the note down and left her room again to try and figure out where her classroom is.

"That I am. Something for you speci-" He was interrupted by a flash of light coming from under the couch they had off to the side of the room. "What is that under the couch there?" He said, investigating it more closely. As he lifted cushion, he saw a brand new saber, or more specifically, a Szabla, complete with a custom hilt, crossguard, and detachable blade! "My word..." He said, raising a hand to his mouth, tears starting to form in his eyes. "It's beautiful..." He picked up the saber, giving a few test thrusts to get a feeling for it. Finely balanced, quite sharp, as he could tell by running his index finger over it. It actually drew a bit of blood! He smirked. 'What better way to baptize a sword than with the blood of it's new owner?' He thought to himself. He placed the sword in his currently empty second hilt. "This is amazing! Thank you so much!" He said as he hugged his wife and kissed her heavily. "My gift doesn't come close to this, I'm so sorry!" Rune said, teary-eyed. "I've been baking your favorite poffins from scratch, but that doesn't come anywhere near to this! Is there any way I can make it up to you?" He asked, hugging her tightly. "I've just been so busy prepping our new home for the coming months as well as my classroom, I haven't had the time to make something of this caliber for you!"

She blushes, kissing him back while thinking Let's just hope when I show him the blade arsenal I converted the closet into while he was debating his ability to teach doesn't kill him with joy. "You were thinking about when I was an Eevee, right? When we met? Remember, we cooked poffins a little afterwards. I can't really remember if it was the first day... or the second day..." Oh lord, what if he finds my blueprints? Then he'll know I designed it. Non, I can not allow that! His gift is perfect and he will feel that way.

"How'd you know?" He asked, chuckling. Meanwhile, the timer started to go off. "Just in time!" He said, releasing his wife and pulling the baking sheet out of the oven. They smelled divine, and he had certainly put a lot of time in to it, combined with prettying up the dorm, it was almost as tough a job as forging a new blade. "MmM.... Fresh from the oven. They smell amazing, but they are for you, so I can wait until lunch to eat." He offered the tray to his wife. "Go ahead, take one, just be careful about the baking sheet, it's hot." Rune warned.

"I thought you'd hate a Dark Type" Apisves shuddered, his head falling beneath his sweater like a turtle retreating. "I mean, they can do tons of damage to you. It's like fire types and grass types" Apisves mumbled. He was aware that he did tons of damage to Dark Types....but they were still scary!

"Well, actually I can really get to like Dark types!" Kage replied. "They may do a lot of damage to me, but then so do other ghost types! Provided they want to get on with me, it's usually fine!" He chuckled. "I'm guessing that Bird Types aren't your sort of crowd then?"

Apisves's head disappeared once more beneath his sweater before popping back up. This time, he looked embarassed at least. "Yeah, bird types are just...they freak me out okay? I don't want to talk about the whole story" Apisves dismissed, going back to the bed and sitting down, letting out a yawn

"Aren’t we the same? You know, aren’t you carrying the same mindset as I am? Just because you couldn’t bear to lose, you lost your precious partner! You really call yourself a true duelist? You’re the complete opposite of that!" -Weevil Underwood

"No worries! I'm sure there won't be toooo many about here!" Kage said with a laugh. "Though I hear the principal's a bird type! He sounds pretty cool to me!" Kage watched Apisves yawn loudly, before asking, "Are you tired? If you want a bit of peace and quiet, I'll go out and take a walk about the place?"

Apisves shook his head and staggered to his feet. Yes, he was lazy, but he also felt more comfortable if someone was watching over him. "Yeah, I'll follow you" Apisves mumbled, taking a puff of his inhaler before opening his eyes, ready for a short stroll. "Just make sure to protect me from birds"

"Great!" Kage replied. In truth, he much preferred company to being let to his own devices anyway. "Don't worry! Any birds, and I'll sort them out for you! Round here, I don't think they'll be too much of a threat though!" Going to the door, he opened it and held it open for Apisves.

"Thanks man" Apisves nodded, stepping through the door. "So, I thought Gengars only happened if you traded them. What's your story?" Apisves asked, shuffling along slowly. Rather ironic that the two of them actually shared a type. Apisves found the Gengar gjinka rather frightening, but he was easygoing and so tried to forget that

"Well, that's true! Thankfully, my parents haven't traded me or anything!" Kage said with a laugh. "I'm not exactly sure how, but it seems that gijinkas have a slightly different evolution when trading is involved, or maybe it was just in my case. You see, around Lavender Town, there's a lot of ghost pokemon, and they especially love to hang around the Pokemon Tower. It's basically a big burial ground for dead pokemon of trainers. The higher up they are buried, the more expensive for the trainer and so 'more loved' it was. There's also loads of strange women come by from time to time, waving their hands about and trying to communicate with the dead. Me and the ghost pokemon loved scaring them, as well as the regular trainers who paid their respects.

"There is one man that's never been afraid of me or the ghosts though. His name's Mr Fuji. He tends to the graves in the Tower, and is the oldest man in town! He's actually quite good friends with me and the ghosts; he's a cool guy! Anyway, back when I was still a Haunter, he showed me his relic collection one day. It's a big collection of memories and sentimental objects he's kept over the years. One particular thing he was fond of was this wierd piece of cloth. After I asked him why he kept an old cloth, he told me that one time a trainer had buried his Marowak there, after it had been killed by a group of thugs. He said there had been a very special bond between trainer and Pokemon, and that the man had gone away grieving. Marowak had a daughter though, who refused to leave the place of her mother's burial.

"It's a long story and I won't bore you with the details of it, but this cloth really spoke out to me. I had to touch it... When I did, I felt this wierd feelin and a light filled the room. When I opened my eyes again, I was a Gengar! I don't know how, but that cloth had something to do with it. Maybe it was the bond the trainer had shared with his Marowak? I'm not sure...

"Anyway, I hope I didn't bore you with that long story!" Kage said with a chuckle. "It's certainly wierd that I evolved though!"

@,

"Huh, weird" Apisves muttered, smiling lightly. He enjoyed listening to stories, meant less work for him. "Mine isn't all that spectacular, I just got to the age where most Weedle Gjinka's evolve and that was it. Of course, I'm stuck in my Kakuna stage, which sucks. It's like a divine prank" Apisves chuckled, lagging a bit behind the ghost gjinka. Gengars were faster than they looked and the same applied to their gjinkas

I'm sure you'll have your time to evolve soon!" He slowed down a little so Aposves could walk alongside him as they walked through the hallway that all the main student dorms were on.

Apisves was already breathing slightly harder but grinned as he saw that Kage slowed down for him. Heh, this guy was cooler than he though. "No kidding, still, you're an OU, I'm an NU even when evolved, so it's worth more for you, eh?" Apisves joked, giving a light punch to Kage's shoulder. Apisves was referring to the tiers trainers used in Pokemon tournaments. Ever since some jackass named Tobias had brought in a team of legendaries to sweep some kid called Ash, the Pokemon League had tiers. Gengar was OU, the entire Beedrill line was NU

"Sure, Gengars are OU," Kage said with a chuckle. "But even though the Beedrill family are NU, you guys have some pretty cool advantages. I mean, Beedrill's can FLY! Sure, I can float, but when you evolve, you'll be up in the clouds! It'll be so worth the wait! And then those cool drill stringers that Beedrill's get on their hands. They're pretty cool too! I wonder what you'll look like as a Beedrill?" he asked, grinning.

"Actually, we Beedrills can't fly. We just do flutterjumps, like Yoshis. And hopefully it won't come with the bad fashion sense" Apisves smirked, actually thinking the Gengar was fairly cool. "I mean, imagine what I'd look like with stripes" Apisves mused, making imaginary lines on his body

((I decided to tone down, Storm's speed after all. His top, at his very limit, is 45. His average is around 30-35))

Storm came to a skidding halt after checking the time. Stark would be announcing an assembly soon, and Storm wanted to head in to get a good spot in the corner. He liked corners. Before heading inside, he made sure to shoot off some electricity that had gathered around his wrists, so he didn't shock anyone he touched too badly.

The intercom buzzed for a second before a voice came to be heard.

Hello there students. This is your principal speaking. There will be an assembly in the auditorium very soon, so I suggest you all head there now. Thank you.

Mathias looked up at the speaker located near the ceiling as the announcment came on. "Hey Jared, I'm going to head down to the assembly. You coming?" He opened the door and walked out, stopping for a moment. "Oh, I'll be sure to tell you if I find any window boxes, okay?" He smiled, and then started heading down the hallway.

Hearing the sound of the intercom and the announcement it preceded, Kage looked over at Apisves. "I guess we'd better head over to the auditorium then!" he said to the Kakuna gijinka. Kage thought already that he was a pretty cool guy, and it seemed the two of them would get on well as roommates. "I wonder what our first class will be?"

"Hopefully something easy. I heard that the stiller a Kakuna is, the faster it evolves" Apisves replied, shuffling towards the auditorium at the pace of a Torkoal. "So, what's your favorite Pokemon? Mine is Armaldo, for looking cool" Apisves questioned, blowing his messy bangs out of his eyes

Rune eyes popped open in shock as a poffin was stuffed in his maw. He chuckled a bit through the pastry and chewed on it as the intercom buzzed on. He put down the tray on the counter and grabbed the poffin out of his mouth. "Well, we should probably head down to the auditorium. I'll stow these in a plastic baggie and we can finish them later." He said, doing just that. "Let's get going." Rune said, holding the door open for his wife as he finished off the pastry.

"Alright, I'll be right down." Jared replied, grabbing his key off the dresser and locking the door behind him. He made his way down to the auditorium by following the flow of gijinka that were already making their way to the assembly, found a seat towards the front, and sat down. Patiently waiting for the assembly to begin.

Kage chuckled. "I dunno about that! It could be just a standard lecture, or it could be something a lot more physical! You'll either be very still or quite the opposite!" He thought for a moment as they walked, before replying. "Armaldo? Yeah, it is a pretty cool pokemon, but my favourite has to be Salamence! They're massive, they fly and they're dragons! What more is there that needs to be said?" Apart from his fellow ghost types, Kage found dragon types the most interesting. "In fact, most of my favourites are Dragon types! There's just something amazing about them!"

"When you say dragon type, do ya mean the actual type or the ones that look like dragons? Like Charizards, Gyradoses, and Tyranitars?"
