Fey said, wishing that her momentary outburst had never happened. "Wh-why w-would y-y-you say that I'm like a M-M-M-Magikarp or Whismur? I'm just a ... lot more timid than other Ninet-tales gijinkas." Fey whispered sadly.

"Because you're scared of everything and weak" Apisves said haughtily, crossing his arms before falling into a coughing fit. The screaming had taken quite a good bit out of him. He panted heavily, getting air back into his aching lungs. He didn't need his inhaler yet, but if this shouting continued, he would.

Storm seemingly popped out of nowhere and stood in between Kage and Fey, giving the Kakuna gijinka a quick look down. "You know, bullying's not really accepted around here. There's no need to call anyone weak. We're all here to learn. I don't think the headmaster would appreciate that."  Storm's voice was quiet, but still firm, but also not stern. He was stating the fact as if he were answering a question to a teacher. Storm then started walking away, not feeling any more need to say anything. He would hear if the Kakuna continued the behavior.

Apisves let out a shriek, skin hardening once more as he leaped back.

 

"Where did you come from?! Oh my gosh man! Don't scare me like that!" Apisves whimpered, his words muffled since his head was inside his jacket like a turtle once more. "Besides, she was yelling at me too. Go scare her too" Apisves blubbered

As a sudden argument escalated between Apsives and Fey, Kage hardly had any time to react. Suddenly, another student walked by, and after giving them a teacher-like lecture, he walked away agai. Well, he sure stuck around... Kage thought to himself, before turning back to the others. "Whoa! We need to cool it here!" he said , separating the two before they could fight any more.

 

"Neither of you are weak, ok? Is the name calling really necessary? If Apisves likes to sleep and enjoy some relaxation time, it's perfectly alright! If that's what you like doing, then keep doing it! That's who you are!"

 

"And it's fine for you, Fey, to be timid. You don't have to be like other Ninetales because that's the way you are, making you that much more special against other Ninetales!" He hoped the row would cool off now, and that the two of them would go back to being much calmer, the way they were a few moments earlier...

Apisves backed off, his head still hidden. The freaky guy who had just popped up and lectured him combined with Kage's interference shut him up. He grumbled to himself a bit shamefully. Why had he let himself get baited into a fight so easily? He usually just wanted to be lazy

"'scared of everything and weak'? Is that what you think of me?" Fey asked in a quiet, angry tone. She had her hands clenched into fists by her sides. The tone of voice she used reminded her of how she was when she was a Vulpix. Angry and violent.

 

For the tiniest second, Fey wanted to punch Apisves in the face but when another student appeared, apparently out of nowhere, she nearly jumped out of her skin, instantly reverting to how she was before. "I-I-I'm sorry." Fey whimpered. Turning around, she walked away quickly, not even hearing what Kage said to the both of them.

As he watched Fey walk quickly away from them, Kage turned angrily to Apisves. "Why did you have to do that?"

he asked the Kakuna-gijinka, frustrated by the pointless fight. "Is it really a good idea to have a fallen out with another student over nothing on the very first day!?!"

"No" Apisves admitted bashfully, his arms going slack and slouching a good bit. He shuddered a bit as he remembered how angry the Ninetales gjinka had looked. That was another reason to not make her mad. She had some level of hidden power that she didn't use, Apisves was not keen on finding it out

Walking away in what was hopefully a quick and abrupt manner, Fey turned her head and peeked over shoulder at Apisves and Kage. Sighing inwardly, she reached the end of a corner and shrugged her shoulders, deciding on taking a right turn. Once she was sure she was out of sight, Fey leant her side against a wall and slowly slid down it, staring glumly at the tiles that where near her feet.

 

'Weak and scared of everything ...' The words kept circling around her mind as she thought of all the other things that people said to her since she had evolved into a Ninetales. Pretty soon, all the thoughts accumulated to become silent tears flowing down Fey's face and dripping on to the floor once they reached her chin.

Mathias flinched as he was bombarded with a small stream of negative flavored auras from around the corner. Right before he turned the corner, a ninetails gijinka briskly rushed past him, the beginnings of tears starting to form on her face. Mathias turned to watch her as she sat down a ways away from him and silently started to cry. Filled with compassion for this fellow student, the riolu gijinka slowly walked over and sat next to her.

 

"Hey there, are you doing okay? My name's Matt, how about you?" He asked with a kind tone in his voice.

"And I'm sure you wouldn't have liked being called a Magikarp either!" Kage was still pretty annoyed that the two gijinkas had had a falling out so easily. He sighed, calming down. "Look, I guess it's best that we forget about it for now, right? You'd better apologise to Fey when you next see her though. She doesn't look like the type to easily handle arguments..."

Rubbing her nose with her sleeve, Fey was miserable and had a wet face. She heard somone ait next to her but didn't bother looking until he said his name and asked her a couple of question. "F-fey." Fey introduced herself and lowered her head, allowing her hair to form a curtain between them. She brought her knees up to her chest and rocked back and forth slightly.

Mathias hesitantly reached out and lightly patted Fey on the shoulder. "Do you want to talk about it Fey?" He asked, keeping his voice calm. He could sense her swirling emotions coming off her in waves, letting him know how upset she was. Mathias let out a puff of air and then glanced over at the hair covering her face.

Fey took a deep breath and tried to stop her stutter from showing up in her speech. "Pokemon Tower? That's where all the Ghost pokemon are. Makes sense that you would live there." Fey murmured. She wondered what it would have been like to live with Pokemon as well as your own family. She ... never really got that chance. She just watched pokemon from afar and even then she couldn't properly see what they were. "To answer your other q-question Apisves, I th-th-think that the Snorlax is at Vermilion City." Fey said, remembering to answer Apisves other question.

Melissa was a bit taken aback by Synthia's reaction. She was firing questions left and right and Melissa had to think through them before she could answer. "If you want to put it that way, yes, they're back in my dorm, yes and what?" She counted off the answers on her fingers and was extremely confused as to why they would steal socks. "I'll get a couple of pictures from my dorm if you want."

"Oh. Yeah. Thanks!" She blushes, Another lie. What does the lab have against children? I don't understand; first blasters, and now socks. Where does it end? Synthia shifts uncomfortably and takes a sip of soda to keep her mouth shut. Somewhere, a technician is facepalming. Now he's explaining to his boss that he thought she knew it was a joke. Now he's mailing an apology letter.

Jared was walking through the halls as a sudden figure came dashing down the halls, blowing the rose out of his shirt pocket. He grumbled and picked it back up, preening the petals a bit as he continued walking. Eventually he came across Matthias and a girl he hadn't met yet, looked to be some sort of fox-like girl. 'Braixen maybe? She doesn't have a wand or anything. Must be a Ninetails then.' He thought. She looked to be upset about something. He approached the pair and stooped down, asking "Hey, everything alright?" As he plucked the rose out of his pocket and offered it to the girl.

Fey had finally worked up enough courage to reply to Matt when someone else appeaared from seemingly out of nowhere. She went to move back but her back was already against the wall so her head hit the wall, hard. Squeezing her eyes shut from the pain, she leant her head forward and placed her hands at the back of her head, feeling a slight bump start to swell. Breathing heavily to get through the pain, Fey simply shook her head in way of answering both of the boys' questions.

"I'll go get the pictures then." Melissa told them with a smile. Getting up out of the chair, she walked out into the hall and over to her dorm a couple of doors down. Unlocking it with the key, she headed inside amd quickly walked straight to one of the bags she brought with her.

 

Rummaging through it carefully, she pulled out a photo that had the four of them in it. Placing the bag back, she quickly walked out the room, locked the door behind her and went back to Rune's dorm. Melissa opeed the door and headed inside, while giving Synthia the photo.

 

"That's when Nik and I went to Nimbasa City with the kids. They both wanted to go to the amusement park there. The little girl in front, her name is Cindy and the little boy is named Josh. They are both human." Melissa explained where they were when the photo was taken.

 

Cindy had brown hair with orange highlights running through it. She had green eyes and in the photo, was wearing a bright yellow shirt. Josh had the complete opposite to his sister. He had orange hair with brown highlights running through it. He had blue eyes and in the photo, was wearing a blue jacket with a red shirt.

Thinking about it, Kage thought that maybe their best sea would be to go and let the whole thing have some time to cool down. "Maybe we should head back to the dorm?" Kage asked Apsives. "I think we all need a bit of time to relax and give that time to calm back to normal again." He smiled at his friend. "You comin'?"
