"Ok, ok!" Kage said with a chuckle. "I understand alright! Well, I guess just a proper face-to-face apology would suffice. Then you'll not hae to worry about her feeling bad!" He still was a bit confused about Apisves' conflict of not wanting to be her friend, but no wanting her to feel bad either. Well, as long as he apologised, everything would be ok, right? "

"Oh, hey Jared," Mathias said as his roomate walked over to him and Fey. "This is Fey. It sounded like she got in a fight with some other gijinkas, and she's not doing very good." The riolu gijinka turned to the girl sitting next to him. "You sure you don't want to talk about it?"

Fey slowly opened her eyes as the pain in her head seemed to go away momentarily. When she did, she saw a rose in her face. Following the arm that held it she looked up to see a boy holding it out to her. Cautiously taking it from his hand, Fey looked the rose over thoughtfully. "Uh, th-thank you." Fey thanked Jared and turned her tear-stained face to Matt. "I th-think I-I-I'll be able t-to talk about it n-n-now." Fey gave a watery smile to Matt.

"You alright Fey? I'm Jared, Matt's roommate." He introduced himself. "Are you ok? Nobody hurt you, physically?" Jared was fairly worried, if people were already getting in fights, then this would be a rough year for him. He sat down leaning against the wall nearby and waited for her response.

Fey sighed and closed her eyes, slowly leaning her head against the wall. She winced when the bump touched the walk but there was nothing she could do about it. "N-no, not physically. More ... verbally." Fey said quietly. With her eyes closed, she didn't have to see the boys and therefore, she shouldn't stutter.

 

"This boy yelled at me. He called me weak and that I'm scared of everything. I wanted to punch him but another showed up out of nowhere and I went back to being meek and shy." Fey said confidently. She had no idea as to why she was telling these two about her impromptu argument but she felt that she could trust them.

Mathias frowned at the new information. "Did you get their names Fey? If you wanted me to, maybe I could go talk to them." he said quietly. "I'm glad that nobody got hurt though..." Matt stood up and stretched, looking around the corner from where Fey came from.

Fey still had her eyes closed. She felt that this would be the best way to talk to them. "No. I only got one name. The person that called me weak. His name is Apisves." Fey shook her head and muttered quietly. She didn't know the other boy's name and frankly, she didn't care. She slid her back up tye wall and slowly stood up. Opening her eyes, she looked at the two boys tgat sat next to her.

 

"Y-you don't n-need t-t-to talk to them. I'd r-r-rather let it c-c-calm down." Fey stuttered, her bottom lip quivering. "I'll just g-g-go back t-to my d-dorm until S-s-skills C-c-c-class starts." Fey murmured and giving a slight wave, walked towards her dorm. She had her head bowed and watched her feet as she walked, not really noticing where she was walking.

When Kage got to his dorm, he flopped down on the bed, looking through his belongings. "No... no... Ah! Here it is!" Taking out a small manga book, he began reading. As a fan of manga, he often spent a lot of free time relaxing and reading the latest edition of his many favourite series. It was especially useful for times when he just wanted to block out the world around him and emerge himself in another.

Mathias waved at Fey's retreating form. "See ya Fey!" He called out after her. After she turned a corner to head for her dorm, Mathias let out a long sigh, looking over at his room mate. "Well, even though Fey told me not to, I'm still probably going to give that Apisves a talking to if I see him. Hey, did you ever get to go down and check out the gardens?"

Fey had finally worked up enough courage to reply to Matt when someone else appeaared from seemingly out of nowhere. She went to move back but her back was already against the wall so her head hit the wall, hard. Squeezing her eyes shut from the pain, she leant her head forward and placed her hands at the back of her head, feeling a slight bump start to swell. Breathing heavily to get through the pain, Fey simply shook her head in way of answering both of the boys' questions.

"I'll go get the pictures then." Melissa told them with a smile. Getting up out of the chair, she walked out into the hall and over to her dorm a couple of doors down. Unlocking it with the key, she headed inside amd quickly walked straight to one of the bags she brought with her.

 

Rummaging through it carefully, she pulled out a photo that had the four of them in it. Placing the bag back, she quickly walked out the room, locked the door behind her and went back to Rune's dorm. Melissa opeed the door and headed inside, while giving Synthia the photo.

 

"That's when Nik and I went to Nimbasa City with the kids. They both wanted to go to the amusement park there. The little girl in front, her name is Cindy and the little boy is named Josh. They are both human." Melissa explained where they were when the photo was taken.

 

Cindy had brown hair with orange highlights running through it. She had green eyes and in the photo, was wearing a bright yellow shirt. Josh had the complete opposite to his sister. He had orange hair with brown highlights running through it. He had blue eyes and in the photo, was wearing a blue jacket with a red shirt.

 

(Even though he posted right after me, and not to you or me, he's waiting on me. Fun.)

 

"Aww, their cute! You're a nice little nuclear family. Are you and Nik married now, or is there some sort of agreement, or...?" She smiles at Melissa from Runes lap, finishing up her soda. She snuggles into Rune a bit and plays with a screwdriver she forgot to put away.

"Oh this?" He held up his biometric device. "It's something provided by Synthia's... Benefactors. I guess it's just something to keep tabs on my health and whatnot." Rune explained. "It still feels a little weird knowing that you're being watched over all the time, but really, I don't do anything terribly exciting that Synthia herself doesn't know about, so it's not as big of a deal as it was at the beginning."

Fey had gone to her dorm just she like she said she would. Fey's face was still tear-stained but at least she's stopped crying. She had flopped down on the bed and was going to have a bit of a read of her pokecyclopedia when she remembered that fire stone that caused her to evolve. Fey had brought it with her, she just never bothered showing it. Reaching under her bed foor her bag, she opened it up and dug around inside it for a bit before pulling out a bracelet with a firey gem set in it. Fey oooked at the fire stone bracelet for a bit before placing it on her bedside table. Fey looked at the bracelet, then her hands and thought about how she would go ahout creating fire.

"Wow. That's a nifty device, isn't it? What happens if you take it off when you go to sleep or something?" Melissa was genuinely interested and leaned forward in her seat to get a better look at the scanner. Turning her head slightly to the side, Melissa saw Synthia fiddling with a screwdriver. "What are you doing with that screwdriver?" Melissa asked Synthia.
