Alright so you ask me something

blogentry-25260-0-33446500-1407995542_thumb.jpg

and I must answer your question with a song lyric.

I know there's a place you walked
Where love falls from the trees
My heart is like a broken cup
I only feel right on my knees.
I spit out like a sewer hole
Yet still receive your kiss
How can I measure up to anyone now
After such a love as this?

(  I'm just editing my old boring "ask me" topic from way back to make it interesting, so I gotta type this so people will notice it... that doesn't sound needy at all :P )

My heart is like a broken cup
I only feel right on my knees.

"But I said . . .
Look here brother,
Who you jivin' with that Cosmik Debris?"

("Cosmik Debris" by Frank Zappa )

( Just replying to questions with song lyrics at the moment, sorry if I wasn't clear on the rules    , but maybe I'll answer the 100th question in with actual singing  )

Well, the only thing that makes me laugh again
Is a southbound whistle on a southbound train

( "Freight Train Blues" Bob Dylan Cover )

I know there's a place you walked
Where love falls from the trees
My heart is like a broken cup
I only feel right on my knees.
I spit out like a sewer hole
Yet still receive your kiss

Why do people enjoy strawberry cocain that has chunks of bacon inside it and is probaly the cure to the common cold?

Don't forget this fact, you can't get it back.

Cocaine.

( Cocaine by J.J. Cale [ just as a note: if you think that song is pro-drugs, you should take a look at the lyrics again ] )

So let me get it straight:

1) It came out of your butt...

2) It came out with a sound...

3) ...and it smelled funny...

What was it?

Tell me

Why'd you have to go and make me so constipated?

( A Complicated Song by Weird Al )

That was awesome.

What is your favorite kind of spam?

( Sorry just couldn't resist )

What's that smell?

Now scientists call this disease

Bromidrosis

But us regular folks

Who might wear tennis shoes

Or an occasional python boot

Know this exquisite little inconvenience

By the name of:

STINK FOOT

( Stink-Foot by Frank Zappa )

I know there's a place you walked
Where love falls from the trees
My heart is like a broken cup
I only feel right on my knees.
I spit out like a sewer hole
Yet still receive your kiss
How can I measure up to anyone now

How did you come up with the idea for an AMA where you answer in song lyrics?

(I'm actually slightly serious about that one.)

Still like that old time rock 'n' roll

That kind of music just soothes the soul

I reminisce about the days of old

With that old time rock 'n' roll

(old time rock 'n' roll by Bob Seger) [ I'm fond of music and I'm really drawn to lyrics in songs as well as just the music, and would also like people maybe to take a look at older music artists. So I decided to do this as a fun and personally challenging way to bring those things together. ]

Ah yes, the older stuff. AKA "real music".

Shock rock choppin' block, sort to make your heart stop

Shovin' in to overdrive

Playing loud and fast

Make that guitar blast

Playing like today will be your last

(Detroit City,  Alice Cooper)

I would enjoy it if you were to answer this question with a Weird Al song, but any other songs are ok. What do you want your last words to be?

[ Well since you asked nicely  ]

"Hey, everyone, listen up, your attention if you please

We wanna give you a warning

'Cause I found out this morning

About a dangerous, insidious computer virus

If you should get it, an email with the subject, 'stinky cheese'

Better off protecting your chances

Under no circumstances, should you open it

Or else it will

Translate your documents into Swahili

Make your TV record "Gigli"

Neuter your pets, and give you laundry static cling"

( Virus Alert, Weird Al )

I know I've been commenting alot on this, I just really enjoy this topic. Anyways, I got two unsolved questions from 90s songs. First off, what wouldn't Meatloaf do for love. Secondly, we take on a question that has been on our minds for generations upon generations, a question our kids will ask and we'll have to answer them with a simple answer of "I don't know" and then get our heads covered in slime by some random person, who let the dogs out?

[ It's fine, as long as someone is enjoying the topic I'm satisfied :) and I think I'll answer both questions at once ;) . ]

The answer is blowin' in the wind."

Do you like cheese?
