Opinion on Anti-religious freaks

I just had a conversation with a few of my friends and a super anti-religious guy. He was saying that "God" doesn't exist and the sooner you stop believing in what can't be proven the sooner you will be happier and more peaceful. He was also saying the world would be a utopia without religion and the bible. And he said people hate because of the fear of what they don't understand. No, I hate because you're an idiot.

I'm ok with people having their own beliefs but when you start preaching about it to people who don't give a fuck, I'm going to tell you to take your atheism and shove it so far up your ass that it kills you.

You don't have to not believe in "God" to be happy and live a good life. "God" is always there to give people hope.

You can be happy with yourself with any god of any sort.

It kind of reminds me of some things some bronies do. And some of those who believe it are atheist.

I'm atheist and it's just as bad to shove that on someone as it is to shove religion on someone.

Most atheists complain that people push theirs, and push their own.

Everyone has different beliefs. *shrugs*

Hmmm I guess I'm kind of agnostic. I don't care if there is or isn't a "God" and if their is then show me legit scientific proof. Until then, go preach to someone who cares about your religion.

because if someone believes in a religion that says we should get people to give their money to the less fortunate through force then I'm kinda getting the short end of the stick in this reality

I don't believe in organized religion. It's really not for me. I find it pointless to have someone tell me how to live my life. Believe in what you want, just don't tell me about it. I believe that there are higher powers beyond human understanding. But making groups that enforce values kind of put me off.
