So the process of putting together the cosplay you all voted for has definately been started. There are several elements of this that are concurrently being assembled and while things like shoes are proving to be crazy frustrating, the one thing that has really opened my eyes to what women deal with is the makeup. Let's break this down. This is the current list of things that I need. 

Kryolan Dermacolor Camouflage Creme

Bobbi Brown Corrector (this is basically light pink concealer)

Urban Decay All-Nighter Foundation (this is a foundation)

MAC Skinfinish Natural powders (for a VERY light blush).

Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone Multipurpose Primer Pencil (This is a eyeliner primer). 

Lip gloss and a very muted natural color lipstick. 

Brushes .... a metric fuck ton of brushes! You have a blush brush, a eyeshadow brush, a crease brush and things I have no idea what the hell they are for.

That's an eyelash curler, and have always thought that these things looked like a medieval torture device. I make just up for fake lashes because I keep mentally visualizing my eye popping out. Nightmare fuel. Game over man, game over. So after ordering must of this I did grab one thing that I actually thought was pretty cool. You see, I have brown eyes. Trixie does not. So .... I ordered purple colored contacts! 

I'm sorry but that is just freaking cool looking. So what is the take away from all of this? One, you all should understand now that I am all in on this. Two, even though I have been married to a women and have a daughter, I realized I never paid any attention to all the shit they put on their face over the years or how they did it. Those who will be rooming with me at BronyCon ... I am sorry but I will likely be in the bathroom for a while putting all this nonsense on. I may keep those contacts on after my time in the cosplay is over though. Purple is my favorite color and those are AMAAAAAZING.
