Nope. Nope, nope, nope. I'm sorry Pinkie Pie. That episode was too predictable in story and the announcement was too. I don't want to be cold and harsh but it has to be said, that episode, sadly sucked.

I'm not going to spoil much, but that episode was well made. I guess that episode also marked my swan song as a brony. There's nothing much else to say but thanks for the memories over the past five years. *tips her hat and makes her way towards the sunset*

Don't ask me why, don't ask me how and call me a traitor if you must, but I'm going out against the positive tide and say that I didn't even like the Brotherhooves Social episode at all.

Although I am not in the anaylsis and review game these days, I'll let my thoughts on the film be summed up in one tweet: "Now...that was a great film! Still feeling the vibe but it was action packed right from start to finish!" On a side note (spoilered below)........ -
Yikes! That was a close one. Got my time zone conversions for the Friendship Games premiere mixed up. At least I can sleep in (and rest from this blasted flu) and get some rest tonight and not stay up until 10:00pm.

It's not fun when you are sick, especially a spring flu going around. That also makes for some weird and often at times, far out lucid dreams. Like last night where I ended up in Charmie's (my EQG OC) shoes comforting a crying Fleur De Lis. (also in EQG form) Strange?

Double Ugh. Without spoiling anything, the new episode was much worse than last week! Story was predictable, cringeworthy moments and I wasn't even interested. Call me harsh, but that's the bitter cold truth.

Ugh. Without spoiling anything, the new episode was pretty much average for me, especially towards the end. Song catchy though and Sassy got on my nerves somewhat. Not much to write home about, got out of that game during the hiatus.

I Like EQG Better Than FiM. Anyone Else Agree?

I am actually going to go into bat for the other side here and say that I actually prefer EQG over FiM. Why do you ask? For starters, I wasn't a fan of the Equestria Girls concept when it first got announced and thought of it as nothing more than car crash television. (at the time, FiM was at it's peak so hence the negative reaction). However, after seeing the first film, my attitudes changed towards it and that opened up doors in terms of creativity and storytelling when it comes to original characters (aka OC's) that wouldn't have happened with FiM. As an example, my OC Charmie Heart (link) originally had no plans in the pony world as a pegasus with no special talent and a non inspirational cutie mark. Once Rainbow Rocks came onto the scene I started to move with the idea by converting her to the EQG world and I've had no regrets in doing so. For example, I find that when I watch any of the Equestria Girls movies or the shorts, I tend to have ideas for possible scenarios and stories to help expand her character and personality. This can range from comforting a crying Twilight Sparkle in Rainbow Rocks (link), competing in the Friendship Games as a two handed ten pin bowler (link), making new friends in the form of Moondancer attending Canterlot High and helping her settle in (link) or finding love in the form of Goldengrape (yes, the sad hay fry pony) and helping him come out of his shell. (link) Also as a side note, EQG has also helped me with my transgender journey.- 140 replies

Not having the best of days as of late. It snowed were I worked, it snowed at my sister's place but all I got was rain, rain and more rain and not a single snowflake. Pretty depressed right now....
