For me, I've lost all interest in the show (and the upcoming movie) after the 100th episode disaster (it's a disaster to me, deal with it) last season, which in turn resulted in me being the subject of attacks by portions of the fandom for tearing it to shreds in a review and recap post. I tried to watch the episodes after that including the one that almost sent me to the hospital due to a violent PTSD attack. Since then, I've never paid much attention to the show due to a variety of factors but the fandom was one of the reasons I lost interest after the first half of season five. I was "burnt" (not physically) by the fandom, even going as far as getting me sacked from my newswriters position and banned from another forum after I called them out on their end of year awards for taking advantage of my misfortune. Today I'm more into my main hobby and interest of technology and also fitness as part of my transgender journey, but I often still drop in from time to time. -
Not a good day. There is too much going on (Eurovision screwjob, angry fans and the possibility of WW3) for me to concentrate on life at the moment.

For me, my pony days are over. Enjoyed the first four seasons, made some new friends, developed my OC (Charmie) into the EQG world and even dipped my toes into recap and review posts in both video and text form. ....then it went downhill after the 100th episode disaster. (Yes it's a disaster to me, deal with it. Don't like it? Don't bother.) Almost ended up in the back of an ambulance and taken to hospital when the Magic Sheep ep aired (thanks PTSD) and I also missed some pretty key milestone episodes such as Rara and the finale. I tried to watch those but they don't have the same impact that others experienced and I also had a falling out with some of the friends I made. I also suffered from some health issues (depression, stress etc) due to some fandom problems such as getting banned from a forum for an minor offence such as duplicate thread and then getting spat in the face when the admins made fun of it during their end of year awards and on Xmas Day might I add. I also gained a lot of weight (130kg) which luckily I have lost most of it so far. I've pretty much moved onto better things such as my transgender transition journey and even rediscovering my love for technology and never looked back. -

Another Christmas over. It wasn't a pleasant one let me tell you. (On a positive note though, have a great Christmas and New Year! *ahem* "I'm afraid you are too late to make that wish....")

Well folks, that should do it. That's the last ever episode of My Little Pony that I have watched. It's been a great run with lots of memories and memorable moments (and some that I would rather forget) over five great years, but now it's time for me to pack my bags and move on to bigger and brighter things. This isn't goodbye, but the start of a new chapter. Thank you.

general When Has A Fandom Rubbed You The Wrong Way?

Wow. That's horrible. In fact, that is plain wrong. That's why I got out of the fandom myself a few months ago due to some of the stuff that was mentioned above. All the classic ideals of the fandom for me have now all but been taken over by a my way or the highway attitude. I also encountered in the last few months of my fandom experience: * Was told to go and "off myself" or "get hit by a vehicle" when I spoke out against the future of the show. * Got banned from a brony forum for being critical on an episode and also another for a minor offence that didn't warrant a instant ban. * Got sick of the constant "you must thank this person or you are considered a traitor and a coward" mentality on social media. * Spoke out against the 100th episode and got torn to shreds by the fandom when I literally said it sucked, even with valid points on why it did suck and what could it be done to improve on it. * Encounted some people (not naming who) who can't even take a hint of criticism or why the show's popularity or magic is now pretty much gone, done and dusted. * Lost some of the friends I made when I joined the fandom due to differing opinions. * Pretty much got high blood pressure and gained a lot of weight due to the depressive and agressive episodes I had due to the above. So yeah, it caused some health problems in which I'm trying to now get sorted out. -
The Hooffields and McColts? Nope. Nope, nope, nope. The episode was horrible. Just end the series already! It was a great experience and all but the story ideas and the magic has run completely dry.

Today would have marked my forth year when I became a brony. So instead of celebrating a milestone in my life, I am instead mourning and remembering the good times.

Without getting too technical or over the top, this episode....well I could say it's great and be done with it, but it will do for it's purpose. With the exception of certain scenes almost triggering my PTSD and causing painful flashbacks of my past...
