the show is targeted at young girls, who are known quite well for not caring one bit about grandiose adventure stories. this is not a rule that applies to all, however a trend seen in a great majority.

hmm, fluttershy would be my first choice, but twilight and applejack would be hard to choose from if FS rejected. fluttershy is so tender and mild, and i'm the type to desire someone to protect, someone soft and kind, someone to hold close, and who would hold closely. i am a hopeless romantic... fluttershy all the way as my first choice. kinda surprised rainbow gets so little attention in this thread
