one unmentioned looney toons reference would be rarity lifting pinkie's jaw at the end of the episode. i really liked this episode, friggin hilarious seeing fluttershy give "bitch" a whole new meaning, and divebombing the guy in the taxi was fantastic! also seductive rarity was funny, but i'm surprised noone has noted the character she was seducing... this whole episode was win, pure and simple

i actually enjoy reading comments on youtube, i get a laugh out of people showing off their stupidity! or otherwise there are some seriously funny jokes posted, what can i say, i enjoy humour...

in regards to the legitimacy of the complainers who got derpy changed, well, just using the examples mentioned by the writer there were 10 negative emails claiming offense, but the 200 positive ones came largely from viewers with disabilities or closely related to disabled people. take that along with the trend that the people who gripe most about political correctness are primarily healthy, upper-middle class, white people with no connection to those they claim are insulted. at one point there was a group of people saying that jeff foxworthy was offensive and made the south sound like a bunch of backwoods idiots, the entirety of the group was city dwelling northerners, known here in the south as yankees, who had no idea about rural life, especially in the south. might some of the people claiming to be offended be legitimate in their claims? maybe, but i'm willing to bet they are a minority.- 752 replies

hah, so it was a chick who voiced frieza... always suspected but never bothered to watch the credits... friends and i always debated that char being he or she but it always came down to words in context vs voice... this was over a decade ago btw lol

i like that idea, a derpy episode effectively would say "trolls shut up" however i think that it would only really warrant a longer scene like was originally planned for the last roundup, couple minutes to explain and then move on with the episode. maybe have one of the cmc's ask about her eyes (the're young, they can get away with it) and it quickly gets explained as a simple difficulty of life and demonstrated that she is a kindhearted and caring pony regardless of this problem with which she must live. no need for a big scene when a small one will do right?

yeah, i'd've deleted the hateful emails and never thought twice about it, but then i am extremely thick skinned. one more of the problems in this world is that hatefull messages always get far more attention than positive ones...
