like i said before, the blog in question is obvious trolling, only AFTER looking at some other articles (read the first couple paragraphs under "murder" had a chuckle.) what is posted in their article about FIM is easily believable to me as potentially the words that could be used by the religious fundies as an attack on the show, happened with spongebob (i hated SB btw, but can understand others enjoying it) when some extremist idiots said it was gay propaganda (or whatever they said, didn't follow it as i didn't care) and then the video posted here; that is exactly how these people think, (didn't watch much past "the littles" clip TBH) is to pick small pieces that when taken out of context become incriminating evidence. this trend is nothing at all new btw, even in the scope of human history, it's been happening with almost, if not, every religion since the earliest days of recorded history, maybe before. the site calling FIM satanic is blatant trolling, however in the article initially posted it is easily possible to believe that someone could take it as serious and support the message written, and not the message that is actually intended.

yes it was designed to introduce each character and give sufficient background for the show to pick up and roll with post-pilot. and it did that job very well i think. like i said before, i think the 2 episodes should be edited together for a 40ish minute single episode, might do that myself to learn the editing software (about to be starting a YT channel that has nothing to do with ponies) but i won't be posting it anytime soon if i do.

got stuff to do with my brother saturday, so i already downloaded it, surpassed expectations.

rarity i think has a bit of "georgia peach" to her accent, muttled a bit maybe with a northern education accent (northeastern) but applejack i'm quite sure is a central/eastern texas accent with a little tennessee/kentucky mixed in, to me her voice sounds very natural but reminds me of visiting relatives near bowling green (30 minutes from the corvette plant which was an awesome tour back when i was 12) the rest sound very clean to me in regards to accent, RD i think has a little bit of AJ's accent that bleeds through (same VA...) but only a slight touch and a tiny bit of gruffness thrown in

that and the star wars prequils are why lucas has no more respect among anyone i know. if he had left those 4 movies (and the cartoons, all of them) unmade he'd still be worthy of respect.

celine dion was another good example of the disappearing accent, speaking i could hardly understand her, yet singing i could tell each syllable. it's a matter of how the voice is trained

quite a lot of singer's accent's slip away when they sing, but in conversation is when their true accent will shine through, you can't really count songs as accented unless the language itself is not native to the singer, otherwise they know too well what to listen for while they sing, but not when they answer a question such as what type of sandwich is their favorite. yes the accent melts away during song, because her singing has been trained, but her in person speech has not been thusly trained. yes i've seen/heard the interviews, she has a distinctive accent, but she sings with a more neutral tomboyish accent, like RD's voice.

because it isn't forced, RD's voice is far more forced than AJ's is, ashley's natural accent is southern/country (i'm pretty sure but not certain that she's from eastern texas or LA because the few vids i've seen of her sound too natural to me) RD's voice is more neutral yet raspy and tomboyish, AJ's seems to be more familiar to the actress.

recon i can understand that on the matter of time, however the episode was to be about her finding joy in reading, not her being injured or how. as she has shown in the past a tendency towards dangerous acts that is taken as a given. seriously though, how bad was that landing to put RD in the hospital? i do get where you're coming from lol
