    Just watched Grand Prix: The Killer Years. Can't believe how little people valued the safety of racing drivers in the old days. So many great drivers could have been saved. So many deaths that could've been prevented....

      Yeah, the problem with the safety rating system is that there's only so much you can do to avoid idiots when they don't avoid anyone else.

      Yeah. The last race I had in the Miata at Okayama, some idiot forgot that you to brake for turn 1 and rammed right into me.

      Oh yeah, no matter what the track was, braking into turn 1 in Rookies was always terrifying, 'cause the people who are new to racing don't realise how much slower you have to go on lap 1 than usual, so they just bomb it into turn 1 at their normal pace, realise just before it's too late that they're coming in way too hot, and slam into each other.

    I'd love to get in on this, i play CAH with my irl friends occasionally and it's always outrageous fun. Hopefully we can get enough folks on board with this. We've had connection issues with the online version before though, hopefully it won't be too much of a problem.

      I did, the moment those cars in front of me lost it my buttcheeks clenched so hard they could've turned coal into diamond :P I really hope the C class fixed trucks are going to be a bit more clean (lol, probaby not), i'll get promoted in 2 weeks and probably try my luck racing in there.

    Oh man, judging by the damage to the car it probably wasn't a huge impact but still, that really sucks I'm sorry for that wrist deal, my mom rides a Harley and she's been struggling with wrist pain too lately. She's had surgery for it but it hasn't really helped much, at this point and at her age it'll most likely only get worse. She's going to be so bummed out when it gets to the point where she can't ride anymore, i feel so bad for her but, nothing i can do about it.

    Oh my what a coincidence, a motorbike thread pops up just as i got a new one! I upgraded from a Honda CBR125R to Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R. Just took it out for my first ride with it yesterday and my God what a difference, it's incredible. There's so much power, it's awesome, exciting and mildly terrifying. mfw twisting dat throttle for the first time: Anyway, you probably want to see it, so here it is.

    I really dig old Formula 1 cars. Lotus 98T. Over 1 000 horsepower and to this day one of the most powerful race cars to ever exist. The 1968 Matra MS11, because those exhaust pipes look awesome and god what a sexy engine sound. Skip near the end of the video to hear it in action.
