Noooo. Stop! Bad 80s music is one thing that will repel me!

I just can't help but see it as the American flag has been co-opted by Trump and his supporters. I also think people worship it too much and expect too much respect to it. I'd sooner put the flag upside down in my avatar than right side up.

I don't understand that either, TBH. I can't be proud of my state. I won't be able to be proud of my state until I move somewhere less conservative.

As I said, there are only two times I'll decorate my avatar. I won't be putting up a US flag for Independence Day because I feel like the US flag and Independence Day have become associated with false patriotism and bigotry. Someone putting a US flag in their avatar at this point is a big red flag to me. I do the Pride flag for obvious reasons, and I decorate for Christmas because I adore winter and am really celebrating the Winter Solstice.

Yeah, this is the first year I have done that. Lol. I dunno I don't really eat turkey. I know that probably is shocking.

For the last couple of years, we've been thinking that it was plantar fasciitis, but nothing - including surgery - has fixed it. So I got referred to a general doctor and now we're thinking I have some kind of auto-immune disorder, because inflammation is high throughout my whole body.

It's not too bad for me, as I've been away from work, which when I have to work it's really painful for me. Although we've had some first world problems, such as our drier breaking, I'm just glad we have all been able to stay safe. With my medical issues and my parents being older, we have to be really careful.
