That's like apologizing for having a rash, or a wound. Depression can be situational, but it can be innate as well - but it doesn't matter where it comes from. It's not something you need to apologize for. It's okay to be sad, it's okay to be hurt, it's okay to be sick. The important part is that you want to get better, and you know what? I think you will be some day. I have faith in you, m'lady.

I have depression too but thats no reason to commit suicide at all. Enjoy life while you have it and don't let anyone take you down.
