  1. @ Swordpoint teleported behind Thunder and grabbed him, holding him in place as the electric blast flew toward him. "You are incorrect. I do not possess the power to see the future. I have over forty years of combat experience, and I have seen many fighters like you."
  2. @ Swordpoint was able to avoid Thunder's kick with a quick flap of his wings. His eyes glowed a bright gold, and a barrier surrounded Thunder. He used his energy to force it downward rapidly, sending Thunder crashing to the ground. "In your haste to achieve victory, you leave yourself vulnerable. Your attacks are easy to see and easier to avoid." He tried his hardest not to acknowledge the pain from his wound. It still dripped blood. Maneuvering quickly had hurt, and he didn't have the energy he needed to heal himself. The stress on his body was increasing, and he knew that the same was true for Thunder. The battle would end soon. He made his lance and armor disappear, but kept his eye on Thunder. He would be ready if his opponent tried to wield the staff again.
  3. You're looking too far into things. Coincidences will happen, and this seems like one of those things. Wicca has a pretty bad rep (which I won't go into details about, although I will say that in my personal opinion, I agree with), so I doubt that the show's creators would intentionally place Wiccan references in there. Lots of cultures worship and/or see the moon as a divine entity, so I'm certain that you're not the only person to think this, of course.
  4. @ Swordpoint held up his lance, trying his hardest to block the impact. He was pushed backward and some of the energy flowed into him, causing him to cry out. He forced Thunder back with a swift push of his lance and sliced at Thunder's front hooves. I must remove that weapon from his hooves. I fear that if we continue to fight with such dangerous means, one of us will not survive.
  5. @ Swordpoint backpedaled, but Thunder's slice still hit an unprotected area. He winced as the blade opened a wound on his chest. Blood dripped to the ground from it. He swung the back of the lance at Thunder's stomach with great force, meaning to wind his opponent. "Put away your weapon! I do not wish to kill you!"
  6. @ (OoC: Well, if Cosmo and Lyth are quite done feeling each other up, let's get on with this, shall we?) Sworpoint steered the ship calmly, watching the sea rise and fall around the ship. He turned to Crimson and smiled. "We are still alive, despite his efforts. I trust that we shall be easily be capable of ending his tenure in this plane. Although..." He seemed to stare off into the distance. "I wonder if he could be saved. If perhaps there is at least an ounce of goodness within him." Rainbow gave him a strange look. "Why are you talking about saving him? This guy wants us dead!" Swordpoint closed his eyes. "... I forgot myself upon that strange island. I killed ponies who did not deserve death. I hope now that I may save Umbra from his corruption, at least. I will certainly attempt to do so, regardless of what the others say."
  7. @ (OoC: Read my freakin' mind.) Swordpoint remained calm. "Very well. I can no longer trust him to prevent bloodshed." Swordpoint once again conjured his armor and lance. He used the extra boost in magic from his armor to surround himself with energy. He gathered it all in his lance and shot it toward Thunder. Before it reached him, however, it disappeared, and Swordpoint materialized behind Thunder, bringing the guard of the lance down on Thunder's back. He flapped his wings and floated a short distance away.
  8. Anyone good with javascript? Send me a PM.

  9. @ Swordpoint stood calmly. He released his spell, and a barrier surrounded Thunder. "You have drawn your weapon once more. I see that you were deceiving me." Swordpoint filled the barrier with powerful destructive energy, and forced it into Thunder. He manipulated the energy once it had been absorbed, causing it to multiply exponentially inside him and explode.
  10. @ Swordpoint teleported away from Thunder, reappearing below. He released a quick burst of energy from his wings, dispelling the tornado. He spread his wings and gathered more energy, waiting calmly for Thunder's next attack. It was pointless to continue charging at him; Thunder's skill rivaled his own, and at this rate, neither would come out on top. But he had a plan, and he was going to make sure that he won while still sparing Thunder's life.
  11. I believe I would probably think that McDonald's finally stole what little sanity I had left. I would walk out of the room, lie down on the couch, and hope to god she was gone when I woke up.
  12. @ Swordpoint glanced out at the strange machines. They appeared to be dormant, and yet he could still hear a quiet buzzing, almost as if energy was flowing. "This is interesting... these machines seem to have no purpose. They do not create anything that I can see." @@repsol rave The Doctor entered an elevator with Repsol. He glanced at the buttons on the wall, examining them carefully. "Ah... I thought so," he said aloud. "Look, there's a basement floor. It's key locked, but I've got this." He held up his sonic screwdriver to the lock, and the elevator sprang to life. A voice called out "Basement floor" as it began to descend. "My locator picked up a signal from underground. She's got to be down here; I'm sure of it."
  13. @, Swordpoint grunted as he stood. "Powerful. Let us continue." He leapt into the air, charged Thunder in a zigzag pattern, and crashed into him. He latched onto Thunder and flapped his wings upward, sending them both toward the ground. He spun them both in a spiral pattern, eventually crashing into the ground with Thunder beneath him. He flapped his wings, sending himself back into the air. As he did so, he flipped backward.
  14. @ Swordpoint effortlessly dodged Thunder's attack. I see now. He absorbs energy, and he attempts to use the force of the energy in battle. I should be able to defeat him now. Swordpoint shot a small fireball at Thunder, but he quickly teleported behind Thunder as the fireball disappeared. It was a trick. Swordpoint quickly grabbed Thunder, spun several times, and tossed Thunder into the ground with a loud "crash."
  15. @ Swordpoint was ready. He let Thunder hit him, but when the electricity flowed into him, he manipulated the magical energy behind it to force it back into Thunder. He was still knocked backward, but he stood quickly. He was almost ready, but he needed to watch Thunder's moves a little more to finish devising his strategy. He waited calmly again, prepared for Thunder's next strike.
  16. ^I guess you missed this. I'm sure it's possible to accept donations directly from a credit/debit card, as evidenced by the Bronycon donation. Can you re-implement such a system?
  17. So I want to go ahead and continue my "monthly" donations, but I've noticed that you only accept Canadian Dollars and you only accept it from Paypal. Is that a permanent thing, or is it possible to donate like I did for the Bronycon thing? I can't use Paypal (as I've explained in a previous tech question topic), and I do not have Canadian Dollars for currency. Is it possible to donate with US Dollars on a credit/debit card? Or am I doomed to forever be a non-donor now that the Bronycon donation is over? By the way, I wish I could've made it to Bronycon. I would've loved to have met you guys
  18. @, Swordpoint tried his hardest to keep the ship steady. "Brother, you could have warned me that your accursed ship could fly! I was to be a navigator, not a pilot!" Despite his complaints, he was having no difficulty steering. The ship seemed... more responsive like this. It was almost as if it knew what to do, and where to go. Once they had soared over the open water, Swordpoint noticed the wings creaking. Recognizing immediately what was happening, He quickly forced the ship to dive toward the water. It didn't gain much speed, so when he pulled up, the ship hit the water with little force. He heard a terrible clang and glanced at the wings to see that they had ripped right off, just as Crimson had said. Rainbow laughed. "Well that was something else! Who's ever heard of a flying ship?!" (OoC: If you go with the idea of leaving some people behind when we get to the Red X, you DAMN sure aren't leaving Swordpoint behind. He'll be right there with you until either Umbra's dead or he's dead. Oh, and I just want to make sure that you haven't forgotten Alter and Hotfoot, the royal guards that Swordpoint brought with him at the beginning of the adventure. I didn't have plans for them, but I want to know if they're dead or not.)
  19. @ Swordpoint shook his head as he ran. "I do not think he wishes for us to destroy the generator... He merely asked us to inspect the machinery." Swordpoint ran up a flight of metal stairs and into a small room overlooking the machinery room. Inside was a console filled with levers, knobs, and buttons. Swordpoint could only stare in wonder. "What are these...?"
  20. @@repsol rave, @ Swordpoint walked as carefully as he could toward the machinery room. "Crimson... what knowledge do you possess of machinery?" He looked uncertain as he cracked the door open. The room inside was completely empty, so Swordpoint breathed a sigh of relief and stepped inside. He didn't notice the security camera focusing on him from high above. The Doctor helped Repsol up quickly. "Just a bit of advice; don't say that in public. You'll get funny looks." He held up a strange device which had a picture of a pony on it and began pointing it all around. As it passed by Repsol, it began to beep loudly.
  21. @ Swordpoint stared at Thunder. He wants me to attack. He's waiting for it. Well that is no matter. I can strike him without moving. Swordpoint focused the energy he'd gathered into the ground. He stretched it out from himself, traveling just below the surface. As it reached the spot where Thunder stood, he allowed it to erupt, sending a powerful column of searing energy blasting through the surface. Thunder is powerful... Perhaps his strength even matches mine. And magic... how did he learn? Once this is finished, I must speak with him. There is much to be learned for both of us.
  22. @ Swordpoint remained calm as Thunder faked. When Thunder attempted to sweep kick him, Swordpoint jumped over Thunder, wrapped his legs around Thunder's torso, planted his front hooves on the ground, and smashed Thunder into the ground. "Not every battle is won through brute force. Strategy will serve you far better."
  23. @ Swordpoint smiled. "Thank you." He levitated his lance, and it disappeared in a flash of golden light. His armor disappeared, as well. He is overconfident, but I believe he is honorable. It lightens the burden on my heart to know that I will not have to kill him. Swordpoint spread his wings and charged energy again. The swirling golden aura gave him an almost divine appearance. He stood his ground, watching and waiting. Swordpoint was always calm im battle, and he had no need for adrenaline. He knew that striking first was not important. In fact, striking first often leaves an opening for a counterattack. He silently awaited his opening, knowing that Thunder would strike eventually.
  24. @ Swordpoint recovered with a quick flap of his wings. "You can use magic..." Swordpoint was amazed. The only pegasi in Equestria who knew magic were the ones he had taught over the past few years. "Please, Thunder. Put away your weapon. Fight me in hoof to hoof combat. There is no need for death today." (OoC: He's telling the truth, not trying to deceive you. He'd rather not kill if it can be avoided. Also, he's wearing armor.)
  25. @ As soon as Thunder reappeared, Swordpoint created a small shield around himself. Thunder's staff bounced harmlessly off of it. Swordpoint leapt into the air, giving chase to Thunder. "You would do well to know your opponent." He skillfully spun his lance, swiping at Thunder's chest.
